The strangest racquet I could find, so strange that it may not be considered a racquet.
Professional jai alai is played here in Central Florida and had a 50-plus year history. My sister’s graduation ceremony in 1965 was held in a local fronton, the biggest available venue for the gathering.

I was once with a couple of friends and shown how to throw a jai alai ball in Tijuana by a professional on one of the professional courts. The ball is hard and can go dangerously fast, and we were pretty drunk.
