Next: Logical fallacies (cite the fallacy and then provide an example)

1. Post Hoc

Every time Rafa aligns his bottles perfectly, he wins the match. Therefore, should the opponent knock them off during the changeover Rafa is guaranteed to lose.

4. Appeal to Ignorance

An appeal to ignorance (also known as an "argument from ignorance") argues that a proposition must be true because it has not been proven false or there is no evidence against it.

The argument can be used to bolster multiple contradictory conclusions at once, such as the following two claims:

"No one has ever been able to prove that extraterrestrials exist, so they must not be real."
"No one has ever been able to prove that extraterrestrials do not exist, so they must be real."

An appeal to ignorance doesn't prove anything. Instead, it shifts the need for proof away from the person making a claim.

5. lack of color (white/black)/color theory
-"In physics and on the light spectrum, black/white is the absence of color. However, in art, black/white is the presence of all/no colors "
-"By definition, a theory is not a fact. Yet, we often teach color theory as if it were irrefutable: Red, yellow, and blue are the primary colors that make up all other colors. "

-new topic : things that would/could/should improve airline travel

1. less seats per row = more room for passengers in ALL categories = happier passengers
3. Less rows for more leg room. Airlines keep trying to pack more passengers in planes, and at some point in the 2000s it reached the point of in-flight torture for most passengers.

2. chik-fil-A, use to have really good customer service !?!
-like all food chains, they are drooping the ball lately
-ive been to some inner city chik-fil-A that are crap in service now
-not the chain itself as a whole, but just the dam cashiers who provably started as friendly and now have turned to sh*t
-that's more of poor management issue,
-the unhappy/unfriendly employees need to go back to the kitchen and/or prep the food
-put the happy ones on the registers, problem solved

Never been, past or present. But, since I am no longer living in the past, I am going to suggest these guys:

5. Trader Joe's

Almost every time I have trouble finding something, I'll ask a TJ employee for help and they will invariably drop what they are doing and assist me. But I almost never have too much trouble finding these:
