It has a backroom with the unfortunate history of being where the infamous Fortune Magazine “Paypall Mafia” photo was shot.

More recently, Sam Altman and other notorious Silicon Valley mafia figures filmed “Mafia the Game” in the backroom. This was shot earlier this year, and I happened to be walking by and noticed a big security presence and production truck outside the Tosca. I talked with someone and was told they were filming this game. The video is not recommended for anyone prone to nausea.

The Tosca Cafe backroom has also been frequented by filmmakers like Francis Ford Coppola.
