Thats so cool Harvey! I’m sure you aren’t boring at all. You have excellent taste. You’ve got some amazing artwork then. Monet’s paintings are so beautiful and surreal. I am in awe of his ability to convey beauty and a feeling of tranquility.

I would rather call Monet's art beautiful and relaxing! I meant boring that way, that very many people that know just a little bit of visual arts - like me - are impressed (!) by Monet (and perhaps other impressionists too) But the actual art-people have quite different favorites...
(It's the third painting in 'Borg Number One's' post that I have as a poster and that started the whole impressionism in visual arts.)

Many thought Stephen Sestanovich’s recent book, “Maximalist,” was the best ever account of the national security policy battles swirling around American presidents from Truman to Reagan, but now Gregg Herken’s “The Georgetown Set: Friends and Rivals in Cold War Washington” goes further. It mines hundreds of freshly declassified CIA documents in order to recreate exactly where these policy battles occurred. The answer lies mainly in a few square blocks of Georgetown not far from where Secretary of State John Kerry lives today, a few blocks down from my own house on O Street NW.
