Happy 30th Anniversary HEAD Prestige On Tour Since 1986

Wow - they are like gold dust.... wish I knew to get one long long ago. Lol
You want that same feeling in the future, grab a couple Gravity Pros now. They're ugly as sin, but they're already generating the sort of high level tour support that means players are going to be flocking to them for years under whatever kind of new paint emerges after they start to make the new editions worse.

Best rackets in the market currently. Looks are very subjective

I just hit with a 1st gen prestige pro (all brown), strung with a 1.18 copoly. I instantly felt at home with this one.
As an early teen i played with a graphite tour 600 (junior version) (from 1992 to 1994-95 or so) and then my father gave me his prestige tour 660 which i played with from 95 to 2000 probably.

This prestige pro is just amazing, wonderful feel, insane precision, fast through the air, sweetspot seems quite big for the head size. I hardly missed a shot for an hour.
I was left wondering, why do racket manufacturer even bother making new sticks, it seems there hasnt been any real technological improvement since then... and it's been 35 years now ?

I also hit with an Elite Pro... What can I say ? Flexiest of the flexier racquets... The feeling when you hit with full power is nuts ! But I find it at little less precise than the Prestige Pro and of course less powerful, so i think i prefer the Prestige Pro.

Anyway, 2 more frames to add in my bag, along with PT630, Radical Tour candycane, i.Prestige MP, PT 2.0.... The curse of choice!

Think I need a bigger bag... ;)

So I am now playing with my now deceased coach's Head I-Prestige MP's. Bought them from his son. Wow, what a frame. I tried them a few years back but felt they weren't HL enough and super heavy. Now, with leather grip and some lead i am at 362 grams, 12pts HL and i am in paradise. Perhaps the best 95 ever? I actually prefer the i-Prestige MP over my now departed PT630's.

Best 95 ever!

Hi, all. Happy owner of new-to-me Brown Prestige Pro. It's got a few spots where it lost a few chips, and I was wondering if anyone ever touched it up with a close-enough touch-up paint before? If so, let me know what color/brand it was. Thanks!

It’s difficult because red comes through the brown paint in the right light.

Mister, you are writing
"Marat enjoying some competition again in the IPTL with his PC600 with Graphene paint job" - thats not correct. I own Marat personal racquet from that particular match. And that is TGT292.1, not PT10.
Here all the info about that racquet

You’re correct sir that was my mistake. He is using the TGT292.1 aka IG Prestige Mid.

By the way, you wrote that the only player that used TXP Pro was Rostagno. Do you have any photos of ATP players with this model?
I did. My brother had taken a photo of Derek at the Tournament Of Champions in 1987 at Westside Tennis Club in Forrest Hills, NY.
One of the Gullikson brothers also used it.
