Happy Mother's Day - ...any good stories or famous Tennis Moms?

On this Mother's Day, not only do I want to wish everyone "Happy Mother's Day" but also want to discuss

a. Who do you consider to be a great tennis mom?

b. Any good stories of how your own mom was involved in your own tennis "career" or love for the sport? And if you're a tennis mom, how you are...

Per "b", I offer just a quick story or two.
No, I never became a great tennis player, but was pretty good at the high school level, and have stayed with the game as a rec player off-and-on through the years.
My mom (of blessed memory) was a good sports fan and an all-world mom who would come to my various games/matches -- mostly baseball, basketball and tennis.

An embarrassing story: We were a somewhat frugal family, and when I "needed" a headband for tennis, she sewed one out of an old sock - yellow, in fact. That went over really well with my friends. I think I wore on the court for about one set out of respect for her efforts, but never wore afterward.

I can now picture the opening of an indoor tennis club that was open to the public, and owned by a former tennis great, Vic Seixas. They staged some little exhibition matches, and the biggest star there was Bobby Riggs. This must've been shortly after the "Match of the Century" (Riggs-BJK in gosh, 1973...okay, I was very young) and in the little meet-and-great afterwards, we were excited to meet Riggs and get his autograph. My mom had rooted for BJK, but was amused by Riggs, and when she asked for his autograph, Riggs pulled her over and planted a big kiss.

Serena showed that she's a good mother at the final of USO '18.

Not her best moment, for sure, but there can't be any doubt to how much she adores her daughter. Seems to have pretty much given up her tennis career for her.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms keeping a professional career in tennis going despite how incredibly challenging that must be.

The greatest tennis mom has to be Gloria Connors, who literally built a tennis court in her backyard when she was pregnant with Jimbo. She told her family, "I'll turn my baby into the #1 tennis player in the world."

And she did. Amazing and interesting woman. She taught Connors everything, including a then highly unorthodox two-handed BH and coached him for decades. By far the most important tennis mother.

Great nomination!

It's really the only valid choice as most influential and important tennis mom. Judy Murray would be in second place, but Jimbo's career stats obviously dwarf Murray's.
True. Judy's involvement and having two pro sons does make it close. With the Everts, was the mom involved at all, tennis-wise?

Greatest tennis mom is Hingis’s mother

Martina Hingis is the most talented player of all time and she repeated the same with Bencic
