Hard Court Sliding Tearing up Shoe

Right hander here playing on hard courts at 4.5 USTA level and I'm constantly tearing up the inside left shoe. It's usually the upper/inside of the shoe near the wear pad on the side of the shoe. I've occasionally cut shoe laces and scuffed the eyelets as well on aggressive slides.

At this point, I'm running ASICS Speed FF (love ASICS) but i'm destroying the shoes before they're half worn. My last pair had duct tape on the outside/inside because I tore a hole through the side and it ended up skinning the inside ball area of my foot.

Any ideas on shoes with a big slide pad for this type of action? It's something I've been doing my whole life, but lately it's happening a lot.

As mentioned in similar threads, there's Shoe Goo or preferred alternative Free Sole, which has been renamed Aquaseal. That's the only way I've found to make shoes last.

Agree about Shoe Goo...serve toe dragger myself. Soles worn out way before upper. Goo gets me a little more play out of all of my shoes. I tend to buy less expensive shoes because they wear out fast. And I don't play a lot...maybe twice a week.
