Has anyone else had knee pain from wearing the Nike Air Court Ballistec 4.3 shoes?

Just wondering...I have been having some bad knee pain the past few years in my right knee and I noticed it's only when I play tennis. For the past 1-2 years I have been wearing these shoes and just curious if there is any correlation?

Thanks!

One time I felt it. Swapped out insoles and it helped a ton.

Did you know exactly where the knee pain was? Did you swap out insoles from another tennis shoe or just add another one to it?

Anyone else at least just heard of people having problems?

I'm thinking of maybe just wearing my running shoes and trying to play tennis today and see if I get the knee pain during it...

Inside my left knee. Put in some Superfeet Carbon insoles and now they are my favorite shoes, along with the Lunars. Guess I am a bit of a Nike ho.

So did you get rid of the insole completely out of the Ballistecs or just add this to it? And have you figured out what specifically is what about the Ballistec 4.3 that gave you problems? I want to make sure I know what not to get in a shoe if it it these shoes giving me problems.

Yes, ditched the Nike insole and replaced it with the Superfeet Carbon. Used to run before taking tennis back up, and I am a pretty harsh overpronator. I think what happened is my knees would roll in and cause they pain on the inside of my knee. The insoles helped correct my stride, and now they are my faovrite shoes. Due to my overpronation, I replace all insoles in my tennis shoes with the odd exception of Vapors.

Not really, istead I went back to CB 4.3 after Asics GR5 gave me pains in the balls of my feet and toes...
Eventually replaced the insoles with Dr. Scholl's active as well (b/c of the problems Asiscs caused).

I'm a Superfeet advocate. Never had a problem with CB4.3 though my knees are a mess from everything else (football, rugby).

They don't give me pain, however soreness is present but I expect that when I play for so long consecutively in a week. I've heard the lunar's have better cushioning on the sole, so I'd give those a look. A new insole might help aswell since the orgiginal one can be a bit stiff.
