Has anyone had a scaphoid fracture

For anyone who has experienced a scaphoid fracture what did it feel like/how did you know you fractured it? I fell recently and got an x-ray but the x-ray didn't show anything, In addition to this there isn't pain in any of the at home tests I tried.

I was diagnosed with a scaphoid fracture when I was age 19. I had gotten into the dumb habit of committing the entire 14-mile round-trip bike trip to my campus summer job riding with no hands. This cured me of that habit.

hand expert doc put me in a cast. A week later I went back in to complain that it was difficult to grab the handlebars without having the cast in wrist-back position (which I requested but she said it had to be wrist-extended-straight). She did another x-ray and said it wasn’t a fracture after all. No more cast.
