Has anyone moved from Prestige MP to Speed Pro?

I love Prestige but I would strongly welcome some relief in defending and also for those lazy legs days.
I currently love Graphene Prestige MP. I am eying Graphene XT Speed Pro.

I would like to hear experiences - pros and cons - of the switch.

I would not like to waste forum space for speculation of Head current lineup or Graphene talk while I respect emotions regarding Heads current status and lineup. :)

If you want to switch to the Speed, I would rather try out the new Graphene Touch Speed. A lot of people hated the Graphene XT Speed, but I've heard some really good things about the new ones.

Perhaps yes. I was just quite put off after reading reviews and also some random comments. Graphene and Graphene XT Pro both got pretty decent reviews and I also have read some positive remarks.

To be perfectly honest with you. I've pretty much only played with Prestiges for many, many years. I've tried various racuets, from Babolat, to the Pro Staffs, Speeds, Radicals, and Blades. The only racquet that I've felt was on par, and in some ways better than the Prestige - is the 2015 Blade 98 18x20. It has that same solid feel as the Prestige, but it is more forgiving, more spin friendly and less string sensitive. Once my IGPP's die, I will switch to the Blades.

Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Been there, tried too many different sticks. Tried Blades as well, both current one and one before. I changed for awhile to them but I just couldn't get it right. For me they lacked plow and power. Also I wanted more stability. I leaded them up, tail weighting, increased swingweight but no. They feel nice but no, not the same or even enough to switch.

My recent change was PureStrike 16x19 which I liked a lot. As in stock form it lacked power I weighted them up and I liked but then again Prestige is just so solid and uniform on impact. I feel I can put the ball anywhere.

If you like the traditional beam shape of the prestige, you will feel that something is missing with the speeds in my opinion. I like the feel of the current prestige but it can become hard work when your swinging against the breeze, you always have to hit out. What I would do is to buy another prestige and have it string low in a gut for the days when you feel low in energy and try that. I've hit with the new speeds in pro type form and it's ok, it just needs more weight.

you guys' avatar look so similar confusing. :)

anyway, you guys are not alone. every few weeks, there are new thread about people struggling to find a frame to switch to, from prestige's they've been playing.
Look for threads such as "why it is so hard to switch from prestige?" or something like that.

i myself have played with prestige last decade or so. looking for more forgiving one but have not found one....

My current racquet is the Graphene Speed Pro but I have played with the XT Speed Pro and also the Graphene Prestige MP. To me I keep going back to the Graphene Speed Pro. Has a nicer, more solid and less stiff feel to the XT.

I love the Graphene Prestige MP and when I am on my game its awesome and can put the ball anywhere and swing as hard and freely as I want but I find I can be more consistent with the Graphene Speed Pro especially when I get a bit tired and lazy but it does lack that ability to pinpoint place the ball.

I am also eager to try the new Bab Strike 16x19 due to the awesome reviews but think it will be hard to give up my faithful old Speed Pros

I'm afraid my experience with the XT Speed Pro was not a good one. Very hollow and stiff feeling, with little plow. I have wondered whether than was a QC issue, but comments from others suggest a similar experience. A friend plays very well with the previous graphene version though.

i also tried the Speed pro coming from the Graphene prestige MP
felt like a racket launcher, swinging was way too fast, I am now using Graphene Prestige S with polarised weight.
specs simliar to the graphene MP but much more forgiving and a little bit more free power, maybe something for consideration
