Has anyone shortened a Volkl BB 10 ? (or other Volkl frame)

I want to try it at 27.25, my main question is whether you can cut it off without replacing the pallets or do you have to get new pallets and cut them off separately. Thanks.

I've done it. It played fine, but I did prefer the full length version. You do not have to buy new pallets.

Just chop off what you dont want and reattach the butt cap.

Or remove and reattach them. Seem to be the same pallets on the BB 10 standard length sticks I acquired in Europe.

no reason to remove the pallet....just dont be sloppy and use a quality sharp fine toothed blade..if a slightly uneven cut, can use a file to fix.
