Has anyone tried AG synthetic gut as a cross?

Was browsing around for some strings the other day and came across a reel of AG synthetic gut for under 20 bucks. I usually use full bed poly or poly hybrid with SG crosses.
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried AG synthetic gut as a full bed or as a cross for poly mains and what were your experiences? I currently enjoy Gosen og sheep micro as a cross with poly mains, but for under 20 bucks a reel, I wanted to experiment.

I have used it as crosses couple of times. It works ok, nothing special (but then again for the price you can't expect much). I didn't play with it long enough to know about it's durability, but tension maintenance is average for a synthetic. I haven't tried Gosen OG since I mostly like to do full poly, so I can't compare to it. Worth a try, but you can probably just get a set to try it. They have free shipping on lots of their sets for under $3/set.

Works as any other synthetic gut. I had used it before in crosses. If you already use some other synth gut in crosses, you won't be disappointed.

Thought I'd check back in. Only used in a hybrid as the crosses, but this stuff is your basic middle of the road synthetic gut. Not as soft and slippery as Head PPS, not as stiff as Gosen Micro. Offers decent bang for the buck.

I am currently using the Gosen Micro 17 as a cross with a Genesis Pro Advantage Main. The GPA is a fairly soft poly and the GM is a fairly stiff SG. This doesn't play much differently than a full bed of GPA.

If you get the AG syngut please post up your impressions Henweezy as I'm looking for a softer/better SG for the crosses.
