Has Roddick switched rackets or is it a marketing ploy!

Hey folks,

I have a quick question. Arod has been in a slump since the US Open 05 and now he is endorsing a new signature racket. I am wondering whether his dip in form has coincided with a potential racket switch.

There is a clear evidence of players switching rackets to their later detriment; Ferrerro and Coria are recent examples. My question i guess is has Roodick changed rackets or is it just a marketing ploy. If it is a ploy he could be using his current stick since 2003 but its just now becoming readily available to the public with Arod's specific requirements.

If it is an actual switch from Arod, it would explain his current lack of fire power on serve and on serve.

I thought Babolat simply started selling the racket A-Rod was already using. So A-Rod didn't have to switch anything. Well maybe the paint job looks a little different and that's about it.

Its the same racquet he has been using all the time. Before it was modified PD now its a PD Roddick.
