In my opinion it has.

Tennis has changed too much in the last decade. A little change was probably good after the servefests of the 90's, but this is too much.Whether it's the courts, the players, the equipment or whatever, I think GrandSlam tennis has become too much of an endurance test.

Some will like this, some won't but I believe tennis should mainly be a game of technique instead of stamina. You shouldn't wonder if your opponent will be able to walk in the 4th or 5th set.

If tennis is a game of endurance they should change the format and allow for more rest (minimum of 2 days) between matches and probably make the game a bit slower so the big running can begin. Go Andy, Novak, catch the ball!

Discuss.

It has become way too physical,it has basically become a contest of who can run a lot and recover faster. No variety whatsoever

As much as I hated the 90s serve fests and the FO winner going out in R1 on Wimbledon each year I agree. Many sports regulate the split between athleticism and technical skill, in tennis I'm not sure the balance is right and with the length of the season there will only be more injuries.
