Have You Ever Been to Prison?

Have you been to prison? If so, was it better than you expected? Worse than you expected? What were some surprises that the general public does not know about prison life?

It must be worse until it gets better. I remember seeing a movie where the prisoner loved being in the prison. He felt he had a purpose there but once he was released and had to go back to normal life, he couldn’t cope with it. It was a depressing movie come to think of it.

Yes for kicking out my son of the house
That's not illegal in my jurisdiction once the evictee reaches the age of 16. Even if it were, unlikely to result in actual prison. Child endangerment might result in a jail stay if you can't afford bail.

OK, in spite it seems nobody here has actually been to prison, is anybody considering it as a possible outcome?

This is yet another indicator where America leads the world, so if you want to go to jail join the land of the free:

The United States holds the highest incarcerated population in the world with over 1.7 to 2 million people imprisoned, followed closely by China and Brazil. The U.S. also leads in incarceration rates, with approximately 531–614 per 100,000 people.

Does this mean that Americans can’t behave?

People who lack discernment and knowledge have this view.

I toured Alcatraz with family back in 1984. They put tour groups into one of the cells and closed the door(with the lights off). There was a light bulb and as the guide explained, the rules of the prison bureau specified that each cell in solitary confinement area had to have a bulb, but it didn't specify that it had to be turned on.

On the other hand, if you're Ghislaine Maxwell you have prison guards as your personal servers.

Her resort aka prison:

5219x3479!

On a trip to Germany, I had an opportunity to visit Dachau extermination camp.
The most disturbing thing was how ordinary it seemed.

Such wonderful family memories!

It's too bad you didn't get a chance to stay longer.

You would have tremendous insight into my question.

Although it is unfortunate no one would come out of the woodwork to tell their prison story, I am quite confident it is a moot point in my case.

I have no doubt that the jury, 12 good men and true, will see what I have long maintained - Everything I've ever done, has been good and right.

Good luck! Just in case, please advise where we can go visit.

Being "good and right" is irrelevant. The question is whether your actions were lawful.
