It must be worse until it gets better. I remember seeing a movie where the prisoner loved being in the prison. He felt he had a purpose there but once he was released and had to go back to normal life, he couldn’t cope with it. It was a depressing movie come to think of it.

That's not illegal in my jurisdiction once the evictee reaches the age of 16. Even if it were, unlikely to result in actual prison. Child endangerment might result in a jail stay if you can't afford bail.

There was a light bulb and as the guide explained, the rules of the prison bureau specified that each cell in solitary confinement area had to have a bulb, but it didn't specify that it had to be turned on.
