I rooted for Djokovic this year against Federer at W and USO so as to keep Federer within striking distance for Nadal. Nadal could conceivably equal Federer's record next season, or get to within 1. Had Federer won either W or USO, it would be game over.This is mostly a tongue in cheek post
I was watching Maria play Aggie last night, and I found myself rooting for Maria to win. I don't know why. I have never supported her as I do not like her grunting. But last night for some reason I just wanted her to win her match. Was it because she was off the tour since July? And was a slight underdog? Or is there something wrong with me?
So for you guys, any moments of temporary insanity like the above?

I rooted for Djokovic most of this year until Wimbledon. I am now supporting Nadal since this French Open, because I accepted that he's declined a lot and doesn't possess a threat to the GS record, now Djokovic seems more close to Roger than Nadal is, albeit Rafa's more close numerically talking than Nole.

Yeah, every now and then. Just this past week, was rooting for Johnson against Ferrer to win his first title, even though I like Ferrer much more and Johnson has got some ugly AF ground strokes. It was a good match.

Ferrer fan but when I saw Johsnon so close to the victory in the third, I was nearly rooting for him, as the title would have meant much more for him than for Ferrer. But he will have other occasions next year (but maybe not a 500 yet).

I was suprised with myself here , because I usualy root for Daveed as a really admire his work ethic and persistance ,even though his game is not always that interesting to me .You guys too?? Lol I thought I was alone in that regard
