Here is a Here is pic of one of my court ballistecs. I have about 20 pairs of tennis shoes, so I rotate them and dont use this pair that much. Today I played on hard court and my shoe was feeling strange. After carefully inspecting it,I found an air bump on the outsole -not present in the other shoe of the pair-. Have you ever experienced this? Obviously the shoe is a bit old and nike will not provide any kind of warranty, but I am curious if this ever happened to anybody. I am afraid of getting injured if I keep playing on them. Can you see the air bump?

Yes happened in my Air Max 2009. I think its due to temp or wear in the air bubble. Mine soon popped after. So be weary of that. Due to the age of yours I would think your in for a similar expierence.

Did you get any refund for that if it happened to you while using it? I thought Nike gives a voucher when their Air products prove defective.

No due to age mine at the time were 2 years old similar as those posted. I used to work for the Nike Outlet and while it was when I was in high school I think it was either 6 months or a year. And they can check that via the prodiction date on the shoe tag inside.

No way! This just happened to my exact same pair in that color way!!!

I moved to Florida from California and assumed it was something about the heat during the move that caused that on my 4.3

Nike should cover air max system completely like part of Nadal' PE shoes in order to be more durable.
I understand hiding air max system might not be a good thing for marketing purpose but air max system might be much better from covering air max system with rubber/outsole.
Actually I've never had air max problem except LB4.3.
I don't know why 4.3 had problems since outsole design was same from 1.3-4.3 but LB 1.3-3.3 were fine.......

Keeping old shoes are risky since Nike will not replace any shoes which was produced more than 2 years. The biggest concern is....glue is going bad T_T
