Have you guys ever seen a more polite racquet smash?

Just came across this and thought I'd get people's thoughts on this.

I had never seen Rafa smash a racquet until now. This is the first time. And I wouldn't even exactly call this a smash per se. He just picked it up later and you can tell he was probably apologizing to his stick :D

P.S: I love the fact that he never smashes his stick even though one of my guilty pleasures is watching racquet smashes videos on Youtube.

Haha, nice gem, I would go so far as to say it was even a humble racquet smash.

I like that Rafa doesn't go all berserk on the racquets.

That's a pretty gentle smash! Speaking of which, I'd like to see players start to smash their racquets then walk over and hand it to some kid in the stands instead. Might calm them down a bit and they still get rid of the cursed thing.

That's the type of smash where he's clearly frustrated, and had a momentary lapse of control, but still absolutely doesn't want to feel ungrateful. LOL at octobrina thinking Nadal is the boss.

If Nadal is Michael then Toni is Vito.

Who's the boss, it depends on your view.

Who's the boss depends on who is the employer and who is an employee. A professional tennis player is not an employee on his team.

I have no idea who these 'Michael' and 'Vito' are.

Is Toni actually an employee of Nadal though, or just an unpaid mentor?
