Hi everyone, first post here. Glad I found this site.
I used to play tennis in high school, and really enjoyed it. I wasn't really a power hitter but somehow managed to play 1st singles.
It's now been about 6 years since I've played, and I'm looking to start playing again (unfortunately nobody I know plays).
The first thing I want to do is find a racquet.

I started searching online and came across this site:
http://www.racquetresearch.com/
It completely confused me, and now I don't know what kind of raquet to get. There's just so much that goes into choosing the "right" racquet. So, I was hoping for some help from here.

I'm male, 5'-7", 150 lbs. I have a medium swing, and I need some more control with power shots. I'll land a few in the court when I try to hit hard, but more than I'd like they land out.
My previous racquet was a Yonex and I liked it. I was thinking of the MP 3i, but I don't think they make that anymore?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

TW has great demo program. I'd start with Yonex . Read the reviews & in put before you order you're demos ; you will find one you like sooner than you think. Good luck !!!!!

You don't say what level you are... try the RDX (both 500 and 300) range if your decent 3.0 and above... or try the V-Con 15 & 17's which are good rackets.

thanks for the replies everyone. I think I'm a 3.5 although I've never been ranked.
I also didn't know about the demo program which sounds good too.
very cool

If you like Yonex, try the RDX 500 MP, or for a little more power the RDX 300. I'm sure either of those will hold you for a while.
