Having 2 Backhand Styles?

I'm thinking about adding a 1HBH in addition to my BHslice and 2HBH. Is this fine, or is it simply unnecessary?

I tend to have trouble against high bouncing running backhands, and at some cases I don't want to slice or reach uncomfortably with a 2HBH. Will the 1HBH help me with higher balls, giving back a same paced return?

I don't think there's any pro players out there who have 3 options of hitting backhands, but I think I could really use these if I knew the correct situation.

You have a problem with high balls... And your solution is to add a one handed backhand drive?! You need to rethink your strategy buddy.

I have a one hand, and am currently practicing 2 hand. It's rather fun. At first I was muscling the ball too much, but now am getting more fluid. It's great when it's in the strike zone, but the real high ones are difficult.... it's best to use one hand slice when it's at my head height.

Try hitting those high-bouncing balls with an open-stance 2HBH.

Have you seen all the "how do I hit high balls with a one hander" threads? Adding a one hander is not going to help on high balls in the slightest unless you use an extreme grip.

One hander doesn't help you with high balls. Different correct technique does. Basically, you hit it depending on your grip. Some grips need closed stances, some open. And what you want to hit depends on your stance also, so it's not simple black or white.
And most top players have at least, usually more than 3 backhands. Volley gripped return of serves. Groundie topspins. Groundie flat passing shots. Groundie fetch off low balls and change of pace. And different technique for forehead high balls from shin high balls.
