HC shoes on clay

Hey guys, so, I’ve recently bought a pair of shoes(vapor x). However, I bought the hardcourt version of them and where I live, everything is played on clay. So I would like to ask if any of you has experience with playing with hc shoes on clay?

Very slippery, not enough grip!
Of course, when you’re (more) light footed that issue comes later when some parts of the sole are getting flattened.

i usually play on har tru with hard court shoes. hard court treads vary, but they usually just get clogged w clay pretty quickly. whack em between points like the pros ...

I use my speed ff and court ff2 in clay and like them. The speeds got slippery quick but it was fun for sliding. The courts are a pain to slide on clay do to the grip.

As people have said, depends how you play; if you're light on your feet, you'll be fine but will probably skid more than usual. Heavier and the skids will be more exaggerated. Not the end of the world either way
