Head Auxetic Radical

@naturalexponent
-here you go
-side by side pictures of the new/old radical
-been holding on to these for about a month now
-i guess its time to post them!!

the brightness from this pics hurt my eyes lol. How is the feel of the paint on the throat area? I always felt the 2021 version was very slippery in my left hand due to the matte paint. I much preferred the prototype gray racket with the glossy paint in the throat.

-feel is about the same on my hands
-no notable difference, none that i could write about
-its definitely NOT like the velvet paint on the w.RFs (you might be thinking about??!),

Murray approved paintjob (looks weird with caps)

Would love to get your thoughts on the new Radical MP vs the Bad v8...particularly on power and comfort.
The radical mp is more powerful and just as precise (imo), the blade has a nice feel and very maneuverable and isn’t as harsh on the arm. Need to spend more time with the new auxetic radical to see if it’s easier on the arm than the previous version.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for. The previous Radical was almost immediately brassy on the arm.
I can see the Blade being slightly more maneuverable, but the Radical's 20/23/21 beam thickness makes it an interesting option.

A coach at my club had one today and wowww was it good looking. They absolutely nailed it.
creamsicle… not so much.

I had one in my hand yesterday. Really good-looking racket and a huge step up cosmetic-wise to the last one in my opinion. However, I like gray strings and the fit much better with the outgoing one. Besides the cosmetic, there is really no need to buy the new one. They are almost identical otherwise.

That's not what most reviewers are saying so far.
OK, here is my review:
It is incredible how the new innovative Auxetic technology changes everything!
The update is incredibly stable right now and much more power, while being even more controlled! Pinpoint Bazooka!!! I don't know how they do it, but HEAD really hit the nail here. It is much more solid, while being more maneauverable. Better feel, while being more muted and clear at the same time. Comfortable and direct in the response and it firms up in the right moments. Much better spin and flattens out balls with ease. Man, this racket makes you jump from 4.5 to 6.0 in no time! Spin serves and flat bombs? Yes! Returns just always land it, you just have to get the racket to touch the ball. Also, it feels so natural to swing, it makes your swings look like Federer of the era of your chosing. You play a two-hander, then it is Nalbandian/Safin-like!
I've never experienced anything like this!!!

This is the best version of the radical since Gottfried von Cramm won Wimbledon with it!

And this is also why Djokovic, Fritz and Schwartzman will be playing with the new Auxetic Radicals from now on. They will also be using it stock form as they work much better for them than their current rackets that are just too old for the modern game.
Even Murray tried it, but wanted a version with Twaron and Auxetic which HEAD wasn't able to make, yet...

Wow a positive review to say the least! What about the size of the sweet spot and comfort relative to the 2021 mp? Those were my biggest issues with the most recent model.

Which other head auxetics did you try ?
My favourite current head racquet is radical mp 360+….. my only knock was no help with spin on clay court. Power wise was ok. I hope spin production has been improved with auxetic.

Well I doubt it is so different from 360+ Rad Mp which is my main racquet.

Think you guys are missing Mr Piolines sarcasm in the 'review' above. His earlier post reflects some of the reviews that seem to be pointing toward very minor/barely discernable differences between 360+ and auxetic lay up in this particular frame (where they are keeping almost all specs the same), whereas some seem to hoping for auxetic to soften the frame bit more or enlarge the sweet spot (or launch them into the ATP top 50). It was a funny post and we will have to see if that's actually the case when we get the new version in our hands.

In my case, I'm a new user of the radical pro because the Pure Drive I was using eventually started destroying my elbow. So I'm returning to the 11.7oz box frame, head light sticks I always tend to be drawn back to. I love the new PJ (Dutch background and same colors as my alma mater), but my wife bought me the 2021 because its such a good deal right now. I can play with the outgoing version and test if it works out for me... If so, I plan on buying the new version as well. If it doesn't work out I think I'll have to step into an even softer frame like the BladeV8(16x19) or Speed MP.

Duh yeah I think I just was waking up when I read that lol...I do like the 2021 version except for the raw vibrations and small sweet spot made it tough on my arm...I don't think the new version will play that much differently - trying it this weekend, will report back

Your sarcasm is silly. Are you feelings hurt? It's o.k. to play with the older model. Nobody is going to think any less of you. Cheer up buddy.

That is what you take from my honest review? Haha. Nah, man, I am not playing with either of them really.
The pro stock I have is so much different. I just bought the prototype of it and brought it to the same specs and it just plays nothing like the shelf-model. It is a fine frame, but the pro stock version is just much more solid, comfortable, more plow, feel and just the extra bit of magic. I have no idea how that works, but the hair pin on mine is 230 grams. HEAD pro room does the rest of it. No idea what they are doing, but the result is great.
I am a pro stock convert.

But I am just telling you what you want to hear in my review above. And I know you are so gonna love the update! It is just out-of-this-world-amazing! Try it, love it, wait two years, believe the next update is even better.

Watching Taylor Fritz playing Lehecka in the United Cup. The New Radical really pops, looks amazing. Lehecka is playing with the Pro Staff, Wilson really missed on their new color for it. Head is doing a great job with aesthetics of their racquets, Wilson needs to reevaluate their designs.
