The Head LM Radical Midplus is a racquet I'm seriously considering as my next purchase. Since my Yonex bag is tearing up on the inside I figure I might as well order a new bag when I order my racquets.

Can anyone comment on size/durability/pocket practicallity of any of the following Head tennis bags:

Head Radical Series '07 Combi 6 Pack: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageBGHEAD-HRS6.html

Head Radical Series '06 SuperCombi 8 Pack: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageBGHEAD-HFXPR6B9.html

Head Tour Team '07 Combi 6 Pack: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageBGHEAD-TT07B6.html

Thanks.

The 06 Supercombi is a great bag. I like the design of the main compartment. Hard to describe. It's like covered with one flap of material that can be zippered close. It's got zippers on both sides that are connected with one handle. It's a small thing, but I like it a lot.

Great quality bag. Love how it looks and how well it's made.

From the description it looks like it has a great number of features.

One question though....how many "smaller" areas (ie: not for racquets) does it have?

I like having my wristbands in one, medicine/food/extras in one, and overgrips/rubber bands/scissors in another. My extra shirt and shorts I just throw in on one side with the racquets.

Thanks for the comments from you both. crazy8tiger...I look forward to hearing your comments before I order.

I got mine a bit early, so I'll give you a quick overview of what I thought about it, feel free to message me with questions.
Pros:
-Lots of pockets to store stuff
-Feels very durable
-Nice design
-Seperate accessory and shoes bag are nice add-on
Cons:
-Straps don't feel as comfortable since the clips are on my shoulder
-Doesn't keep shape as well unless you have a lot of stuff in there

Thanks for the info....I'm ordering 3 Head LM Radical Midplus racquets today so I'll go with the Radical Series Combi 6 Pack after reading your comments.

Thanks!!!!

ive got to say that the heads bags in general or very bad quality! ive had the last 2 super combies in tour team range that are suppost to be better and they are so bad that even the pros have them changed! go for the holdalls!

I was considering the Head Radical Series '07 Super Combi but after I saw it in a store I decided to go for a Dunlop bag. The Head bag didn't look very sturdy and indeed a bit cheap. Especially the double shoulder straps looked rather thin.... The

Dunlop Mfil bag I have now is very solid and made of very thick material. Also the shoulderstraps are pretty comfortable and ideal when you use the bag as a bag pack (like me because i cycle a lot). I guess the aerogel line is just as good

the new radical is a great bag as long as:
1. you don't drag (or push) it along the ground as it has no protective feet on the bottom;
2. you orient the backstraps on the topside (over the zippers) of the bag, as opposed to the bottom side as that causes stress and tears

here's a detailed breakdown of what i was able to fit inside into last year's version of that bag. it has a lot of smaller pockets which is great for organization unlike the wilson bags.

i just downsized from a monster sized kfactor tournament bag to a 6 pack in order to fit inside the club lockers. i went with a head flexpoint radical combi 6 (not the one on the tw site)

i was surprised at how much i could squeeze inside:

1. outside small accessories compartment
- 3x 500ml water bottles
- 3x energy bars
- spares: grip, damper & overgrip
- wallet, keys, cell phone

2. outside large compartment
- 1 pair shoes
- toiletries in travel size pouch (razor, deodorant, mouthwash, etc)

3. thermal racquet compartment
- 3x racquets (mid-plus stick with 21mm beam)

4. inside main compartment
- 1 warmup suit
- 3x cans of tennis balls
- 2x sets of tennis clothing (shorts, underwear, sweatband, shirt, socks)
- 10 loose practise balls

i can squeeze a bit more into the main compartment but then i should have purchased a 9 pack bag.

btw, the bag is being replaced by this one:

i use head racquets, and the last head bag i bought was the flexpoint radical super combi....the bag is somewhat decent, but when i bought the wilson super 6 pro whatever bag, its like night and day...wilson makes a much better bag...much better...
