Head boom mp vs radical mp

I am looking at getting a new racket, as Im currently using a very old one. I’ve been playing for around 8 months now and have been having lessons.

From my research these two seem to be good options, which one would be best? Or does anyone have any other suggestions? I want one that will allow me to progress and I could keep for a while but also don’t want one that’s too advanced for me.

That’s what I was thinking. Do you know any other good options? I’ve seen speed mp but not looked too much into it

In my opinion, both the Radical MP and Speed MP are too demanding. Overall, I would look for models below 300g (and at least 100 sq inch head size). Boom MP could be an option with its 295g, but I might even go lower in weight like the Speed MP L or Yonex Ezone 100L. You could always add some weight to these frames later.

I don’t want to go too light as I want it to last me a while. Do you have any recommendations for string type and tension for a boom mp?

How accessible are stringing services to you financially and proximally? How often are you wanting/willing/able to restring and what performance do you want out of the string?

“Traditional” synthetic guts will generally last a while and are only about $5 for the string, e.g. Wilson Power. And they get the job done.

Once a year realistically I only play once a week. I don’t feel the need to try loads of different types. I just want a decent type and stick with them and get used to them. The strings on mine currently are soft and that’s what I’m used to. I’ve tried other peoples and the strings feel really tight, but I suppose that’s what I should be using.
