As a part-time Boom Pro user (have also other racquets in the bag as many of us) and one time Pure Drive user

I would say that not really.
I tried the PD once for a match but felt really discomfort in my arm (which I never felt like that before and I don´t have any tennis elbow history/problems) so I immediately put it away. Not saying that everyone feels like this - you obviously not that you played with it for so long, but it was a definite NO for me.
The Boom Pro on the other hand surprised me a lot - easy power&spin, good control, good response, honestly I was more than nicely surprised by the experience. And I kept this frame, played with it a lot for some months and it is still in my bag when I feel like a "Boom" day
Boom has a generous 98 inch head - nice sweetspot and still precise. Also felt really good on my one hander, another pleasant surprise. Serving is great, the easy power is there. Doesn´t really feel like a 310g unstrung racquet to me, well ballanced with nice SW (325 I guess).
With the Pure Drive I remember only too much power without control - again, just my subjective feel after one match connected with harshness in my arm.
