Head Codes [Updated list]

Prestige Pro Auxetic 2021.. where can i find the code of this racket?

And someone can explain me what is the difference between TGK, TGT and PT?

Thank you very much
It's a TK345.1 mold. Probably some T X number after that where the X is the generation.
TGT is the same but without commercial weight baked in. PT is only for the ones made in austria as far as I know.

These codes are even more important, since almost all of Head’s retail versions are several steps below their pro stock counterparts.

Does anyone know the reason why the first gen retail Speed MP (TGK263.1) was foam filled? It is unusual with Head.

WHAT DOES NO ONE KNOW ABOUT SPEED PRO LIMITED EDITION 2023??CODE?
See the post # 372, then continue:
360 Pro: TGK339.1
360 MP: TGK339.2
360 MPL: TGK339.3
360+ Pro: TGK339.4
360+ MP: TGK339.5
360+ MPL: TGK339.6
Black Pro: TGK339.7
Black MP: TGK339.8
Auxetic Pro: TGK339.9
Auxetic MP: TGK 339.10
Auxetic MPL: TGK339.11
Auxetic Black Pro: TGK339.12
Auxetic Black MP: TGK339.13
Auxetic 2.0 Pro: TGK339.14
Auxetic 2.0 MP: TGK339.15

I'm looking for info on the T codes for the TGT312.1.

From what I've seen from racquetfinder the mold has 4 retail iterations.

Graphene Prestige Rev Pro - 2014
Graphene XT Prestige Rev Pro - 2016
Graphene Touch Prestige Mid - 2018
Graphene 360+ Prestige Mid - 2019

Would that likely mean that a TGT312.1 T4 is the 360+ layup?

I have a TGT312.1 T4 and am curious what exactly I'm playing with under the shiny 360+ paint.
Ever get any answers on this? I've been using a weighted up retail XT prestige rev pro for a while which i really like. Considering getting some tgt312.1 but I think they are based on the Graphene rev pro, which people hated in comparison to the XT.

No but I like them a lot.

Maybe an expert can chime in? @dr325i @vsbabolat
To make things a bit trickier for us, all versions of the pro stock Rev pro/mid used the TGT312.1 designator, the layups (based on different revisions) had additional “T1, T2, and so on” designator after the “TGT312.1”. I assume you will be looking for the TGT312.1 T2, but I am not a 100% sure

The TGT312.2 is/was the Cilic setup which used totally different layup in a TK312

Thx, I guess that makes my red T4 ones a 360+ most likely as I suspected.

Any idea on the code for the

HEAD GRAPHENE TOUCH PRESTIGE

MP:

Head size: 95”
Weight: 320g
Beam: 21mm
Balance: 310mm
String pattern: 18×20
RA: 65

Bought a retail HEAD graphene touch speed MP (a.k.a. Sinner mold/frame).
I took off the grip #2 pallet and swithed to #3 and found this code underneath TGK 301.18.
Any thoughts? should it be TGT 301.4? I got confused.

TGK is the retail code, TGT would be the pro stock code. I'm assuming .18 is just the version or layup, based on all the other info in this thread.

Is there a pro stock version of the Head Speed Pro (2022 or 2024), but with a 16x19 string pattern? I mean, a frame which would have the Speed Pro layup (Auxetic), but with 16x19 drilling (similar to Speed MP).
@dr325i @vsbabolat

I tried to spec up a Speed MP to match my Pros, but it felt very different (which is not really that surprising, given the difference in layups).

Edit: If I understand the naming logic correctly, the pro stock version of the Speed Pro 2022 would have a "TGT339.9" code? Does it even exist or it's too recent for any pros to be using it, hence it's not produced?

I assume the latest Speed 16x19 pro stock is TGT339.2? Is it just the retail Speed 360 MP without added weight?

Answer to your first question is no.
Also, your statement about the TGT code is incorrect. There is only TGT339.1 and .2. The TGK339.x goes to .1x or whatever the latest is…

I think this is what I stated, a theoretical pro stock Speed Pro 2022 would be a "TGT339.9", but it does not exist.

Out of curiosity, if the latest Speed 16x19 pro stock (TGT339.2) is it just the retail Speed 360 MP without added weight in the handle, then what is it that some youtubers are raving about? They say it feels and plays so much better than the retail version. Is it just a placebo effect? Or adding weight in certain spots unlocks some god mode in this frame?

The Pro stock versions are TGT339.1 (18x20) and TGT339.2 (16x19). The Tx (x=1, 2, ...) is the layup notation and it changes from version to version according to the retail frame.
The retail (TGK) version and Pro Stock (TGT) version of the frame are exactly the same layup, the pro stock does not include the commercial weights making it lighter and easier to customize. However, I found that adding silicone in the handle (and lead all over it) does alter the feel and dampens vibrations and that may be the feel that youtubers are after...

@dr325i If you don't mind, could you describe the PT310.1? It's hard to find a ton of information on it and it's recently peaked my interest. Thank you in advance
The TK310 is the Speed-shape (beam, bridge…) frame but with a 95 sq in head. To me, the layup was waaaayyyy too soft and I could never click with it. Same string pattern as Heads standard 95 sq in 18x20 or 16x19 (like PT57A)
A few pro players used it in the past but not many.
It was “discontinued” a while ago.

Thank you for the thoughts. I'm a fan of softer frames and I would love to give this one a shot. Are there any notable pros that used this at some point?

There was a Russian guy, I forget who, that used it for a while...
Soft is great, but this one felt underpowered and anemic to me. Maybe wasn't the right setup for me...

Thank you again for the intel. I'm still pretty new to the Head Pro Stock world. I'm interested in some of the 95s. Are there any other pro stock 95s that are interesting?

Yes, plenty of them...some well known and widely used:
PT57A of course
PT57E
PT346.1
TGT260.x
TGT291.x
TGT231.x

However, home newer frames (98, 99) are also worth trying like Prestige Pro, Prestige MP, Radicals, Extreme Tour, Gravity Tour.
They have nice, old school layups (especially the Gravity Tour or Prestiges)

What is the difference between TK307 and TK351 molds? Former is the Head Radical Mp/Pro mold from Graphene to 360, and the latter is 360+ Radical Mp, is it also the mold for the Radical MP Auxetic 1 and 2?

If someone wants to do the hard work and collect all updates to this thread and send me, I can update the original post if you guys want so everything is gathered in one place ( of course with credit to the one doing the hard work!)
