Hey guys,

I picked up a nice turquoise Head GRAPHITE Pro off the Bay over the weekend. I know they are similar to the Head TXP Prestige, but how similar are they? Thanks for reading!

Have played both - The Graphite Pro enjoys the qualities of a top box like design - very solid, good weight (mine stock was 12.8 strung) and some softness for great control and amazing serving if you are a very strong, elite payer(not I). Superb frames within the needs of the more neutral gripped classical player - loves thin gut. The TXP, in my hands, enjoys the qualities of a thinner, more aerodynamic and stiffer modern frame - again, good weight (mine stock at 12.6 - 13 ounces), very headlight and more modern "ping" in the sound at contact. More easily playable than the Graphite Pro as more modern in stiffness and feel - could be effective within the modern game as a superior control and serving frame if for a very (need I say very, very...)strong and elite player. Also, works for the classical player - easier to play.
Both are gorgeous and both are a dream in the right precise set of skills...not easy, though, not all all...

The TXM(aster) was one of the best rackets of all time, IMO. I really had to pay attention with the Pro; but the M(aster) was more forgiving and easier to teach with. Gorgeous deep red frame in the day of teal and white!!!
