I just received an e-mail from HEAD. They confirmed what has been said in this thread.
All the frames are Made in China, and customized in Austria. Because of that, even the custom-made rackets do not have
"Made in Austria" written on them.

A Speed Pro with 16x19 sounds intriguing but not for $400 though.

If your good enough for a custom setup you should want to pay for it, i.e. will help you obtain a higher ranking or make more money in your tour events. Want to bees can just continue buying paint jobs
