Head Experimental 1st Impressions

I hit Experimental 17 in my VC95 alongside my normal setup Tour Sniper, the new G360 Prestige MP and S both strung with X, and a Gravity MP strung with Hawk Touch 17. X is the same colour as Lux Adrenaline with a mild edge. Probably gear shaped. Sharper than Hyper-G, rounder than Tour Bite.

X is certainly one of the most powerful polys I have tried. It feels similar to ALU Power or Tourbite in terms of crispness, but it has this plasticky ball-pocketing sensation similar to Polytour Pro or Hyper-G. Unfortunately this means I didn't always know if my hitting sensation was going to feel stiffer or softer. At times it felt jarring, stiff and lacked power. Other times it rocket launched. And some times, it offered sweet, sweet dwell time and tremendous ball feedback. Regardless of the shot, this string provides ample spin.

I will update this thread after I log a few more hours on the string to discuss tension/playability maintenance and durability. Over one session, I'd say the tension held pretty constant.

@dr. godmode
tnx for opening the thread, are you gonna post pictures??

I got to try it for a couple sets today also
felt stiff while stringing, but deseptively softer while playing
strung on head.gravity.pro @48lbs 18/20 1pc
no issues stringing
I thought it played alot like a 8 sided head.lynx string
somewhat crisp,,,ishhhh, but not hard, similar to h.lynx poly IMO

it worked well with the tight pattern h.gravity.pro racquet
no arm issue after
more to follow

Finally! A Talk Tennis-er with insight on Lynx Tour (name after official release). I'm super stoked about the string, sounds so much better than the current Lynx.

Update:

My wrist hurts from this string. I haven't had wrist paint since I used Snakebite in an APD. Tension maintenance was good over a 5 day period. It also maintains the powerful yet crisp characteristic. This is a good string, but not for me.
