Head Extreme mp 2022 vs 2024

Same spin potential
Slightly muted feel
I would recommend to upgrade just in case you prefer the new paintjob, you won't find enough differences in playability

I'm pretty sure the frames are nearly identical outside of Auxetic 2 and the paint jobs. Still one of the best pure spin frames available today.

To me it is quite evident that the new MP has a wider string spacing. I made this comparison to show it. Just look at the space between the main strings in the center.
Sometimes they paint/copy paste these "strings" on the pictures bc the frames they get in shop is without strings... so take that with a grain of salt.
On the pic the left racket some of string are pushed towards middle and the right racket some is pushed outwards. There is no difference regarding the grommet holes on the 2 rackets.

I have both racquets, and here's what I noticed about them:

For context, I hit both forehands and backhands with topspin, and hit flat forehands at opportune times. My best serve is the slice

2022 mp: Less control. Noticed a bit more spin. Less feel than the pro. Used it for a few years. My shots would be all over the place at times
2024 pro: Nice feel. Heavier than the mp, only be a little bit but it's noticeable. Great spin potential, and I notice it more on my slice serve. Smaller head size (98) and I had to lower the tension by about 4-5 lbs to be able to hit with the same style as with the mp. The strings felt way too tight and muted at the same tension

I've since changed racquets (Prince Twistpower x100 tour) so my analysis is a bit dated, but it's what I remember from last year
