I mean not to be captain obvious but you've added 12g of static and a good few SW points with that lead, have you played it stock?
Although at 355g without lead it must be way over-spec anyway as it should be 320g unstrung right?
interesting. did it come with leather grip?Indeed
I have a total of 3 rackets all range 353-360 with NO lead
Either the website is wrong or their QC is terrible...

And yours came with just a standard synthetic grip on it?Indeed

Mine was 333g strung with Velocity MLT 16, no dampener no over grip. So probs about 340 ish with dampener + over grip.
320g unstrung is printed on the racket itself
yep - that should explain the 360g weight. No leather but they built a size 4 from the size 3
At this point I suspect an heat shrink sleeve that adds about 15-20g but I have no way to check.
Good point tho!

the trimmed heat shrink adds about 10-15g.
i suggest to get TK82/TK82s pallets and butt cap in L4 to reduce the weight. this will obviously bring the balance back to the "QC range".
I have those somewhere....
Truth is I'm loving the new radical pro 98 fwiw

FWIW- my 2018 Head Radical OS LTD is 353 -strung. Also it has synthetic grip and 1 overgrip.
Hopefully you have a better experience with it in that configuration.Right
So I opened up one of the rackets and indeed they had a heat shrink sleeve on
Took that off and changed pallet to a size 4, added a head leather grip and yonex super grap
New specs
Weight 350g
Balance 31.6
SW 330
Mgri 21.01
Just perfect!

cool - can i ask what type of butt cap it came with and which butt cap did you replace it with for the new pallet? thanks.Right

cool, the TK219 should have the weighted piece moulded on the back of the trap door, but should be okay as you wanted a HL balance anyway.Butt caps are all the same in my experience. I have some size 4 ones tk219 but I just reused the 4 3/8 that came with it
I played 1 set with the OS Nite over this weekend.
It feels great on contact, and is fairly manoeuvrable for a heavy frame. However, I just kept hitting everything long, and couldn't control the power.
I had it strung with head velocity mlt @57, so maybe the tention is too low for a racket of this swingweight / head size.
Whenever I see reviews of OS rackets, the reviewers always mention shortening their strokes to gain more control. I too probably need to make some adjustments to use this racket affectively.
I played the second set with a lighter racket and I instantly stopped hitting long and regained some confidence.
Try Kevlar/zyrx or monogut zyex full bed at 60
I've just got mine restrung with Mantis comfort Synthetic at 63LB. I've never used this string before, but I had a set in a draw for ages so I thought I'd give it a go.
Restrung my POG tour version with Prince premier control 15 at 63LB also.
These two rackets are vary comparable, as they both weigh about 335g, and have a similar swing weight and balance.
Im looking to play the next couple of months worth of league tennis with these two frames as well as a customised Head gravity S.
Interesting, I have not tired those strings.. let me know your findings
yes the POG is very similar spec wise BUT it has a 16x19 pattern i believe, so it should have more power and less control than the 18x19 pattern in the Radical...
when i play with the agassi OS, i have to work harder to generate trajectory and spin. its a sledgehammer when you get it moving, but with the higher SW its tougher to get it moving.I played 1 set with the OS Nite over this weekend.

I really don't understand why there aren't more oversize racquets marketed with serious players' specifications. Currently, I have to add lead tape to my MicroGel Oversize Radicals for stability and power. What I'd really like to see is a version with a 16 x 19 string pattern.
I saw above that these had heat Shrink on the grips, but are they actually fitted with 3/8 Pallets?
Too bad I cant get these sent downunder![]()
I've just bought another one of these OS Nite rackets, as I'm going to attempt to use is as my main racket for the foreseeable future. I got it for almost half price on **ay and it's basically brand new.
The weight / manoeuvrability haven't been an issue yet, and I'm serving better than ever with heavy OS frames.
I wish I could buy a new POG 107 in the uk, as I do slightly prefer it to the radical. Saying that there isn't much between them.
Because they are thinner beam and are super stable and plushNice!
What did you string it with?
Why do you prefer the POG?
So picked one of these up last week and I've been using it for a few hits now.
current thoughts:
It's a really interesting racket. I have added a bit of lead at 12 to pump up the swingweight to what I like and little under the handle too. It's a fairly heavy frame anyway but just light enough to allows you to add weight to get things dialed in. Main positive is the sweatspot is huge. I'd argue it is 'less sweet' than the angel K7 I have been using but it's just so large almost everything that hits the strings feels like sweetspot. Groundstrokes are pretty good. Spin is easy to generate, power level is nice balance for a players frame and taking on the rise is easy with the headsize. Was surprised that it didn't feel too clumsy to move around at the back. At the net it has also been surprisingly good. Volleys crisp and not at all like a classic OS frame would feel. Serve also positive and certainly feel confident taking a big cut on kick serves. It's a very interesting frame which I plan to give a proper test over the next few weeks to see if I will use it as my go to racket. I will keep you posted on progress for those interested.
I am in the same boat in the US.I just wish these were available here in Australia, very keen to swing one
I've been playing this for the last few months and can confirm that, for me, this is a superb racquet. I previously played the bumblebee and the Twintube. Loved them both but felt the feel was a little muted for me - and i think that made me feel like i wasn't quite getting the pop i wanted, especially with the TT. So i moved on but always hankered for the mix that the BB and TT gave me, especially the combination of the forgiveness of the 107 head with the 18/19 pattern giving control, and the 330 weight giving the stability. The Nite shares the playing attributes of the previous versions but in a slightly lighter (and more useable) 320g static weight, and with a more direct feel which i prefer. That allows me to play with a gut-poly set-up while retaining enough feedback to allow me to adjust more readily. I'd like to pick up a second but fear there are few around.
I know that this is a really old thread now, but does anyone know if there are any of these floating around? Or if there might be an alternative?
I recently got an old Bumblebee, love it. I there are a few Microgel Oversize still around here in Australia, but adding 25+ grams to one of these seems very excessive
Cheers TBM, that's handy to know. That will help me with my searching aroundIt's the exact same racket as the Agassi 25th anniversary tennis racket but with different paint. Those often come up used online.
