Dude, you're talking about 2 very different things.
We are talking retails here, not the custom service.
The proto-demo pj is avaialble for the racquets in the custom service, but if you're after only a new pj then 400 is very steap...

It's the same as if you said that the Wilson Pro Staffs came in yellow, red, blue etc. paintjobs. They don't, but you can get them in those pjs through Wilson custom service.

Anything wrong with talking about "different things"? Aren't we all here to do just that?:D
And Speed Pro is currently not available for customizing AFAIK in US.

Anyway, I have hunch HEAD is going to make some changes in current settings between regular and custom.

Why does everyone hate graphene so much? I never hit with the older Heads.
I also don’t get this. I’ve never played with old raquets and I finaly found the raquet that realy ups my game and just feels right. Its the new Graphene touch prestige mid. All i see here is comparisons with the old raquets.

I've recently switched from my IG Radical MP's to the XT Speed MP and I'm really enjoying it. You can feel the difference, but a nice solid feel when you hit the sweet spot. And the PJ on the LTD is nice.

Head Sales Rep 1: "Our sales are decreasing, we have to sell more racquets!"

HSR 2: "Let's make new paintjobs and rename our Graphene technology something like Graphene 360!"

HSR 1: "Omg what a wonderful idea! Of course we'll sell more racquets this way"

HSR 3: "But wait why don't we discard the Graphene tech and make racquets more like we used to? Many customers seem to want this."

HSR 1+2: "Of course not! We're tryin' to run a business here! If you wanna make a 'customer-friendly' company you can go elsewhere."

HSR 3 went on to become the guy from Prince who collaborated with TW to make the Phantom 93P.
HSR 3 got laid off because only about 150 people bought a Phantom 93P and prince went under.

Head is brain dead not to make a 90” speed pro....
Yeah, cause 90 square inch frames sold so well... oh wait... with the exception of 90s used by Fed they didn't. Look at sales stats from times when Head, Dunlop and so on offered 90 sq. inch frames. They simply did not sell.

The one I hit with had "Head.com/Patents" in the throat... interesting...

Let us know! I much prefer the Graphene Touch version. The 360 has more feel, but more shock and a lot less comfortable.

This one also says head.com further down the "y" section, but near the top of the inside "y", it reads "one of a thousand",,
did your speed.mp.360 have the white throat?

got a chance to hit a bit and play a full dbls set tonight..
first impression, its light
no crazy shock feel on most shoots, I shanked a few swinging volleys and the lack of weight, showed its face
I was pleasently surpriced on returns (which i usually block back), felt crisp, but solid, no shock,,
easy to move,
serve was fast, good spin,
but it def. Does not have the plow or weight of the speed.pro version i tried last week..
The frame is def. More box frame feel, than other speed.rakets I remember hitting with..
the 16/19 pattern creates string power, easy power
good spin for its pattern
the grip is more roundish, than rectangular, of the past..
for a lighter package racquet, it really is very comfortable to hit with..
adding lead in diff. Spots through the head, would def change the feel; I had this one leeded up to 12oz, 8pts HL, with o.grip

I hit with the MP and the Pro. I preferred the MP. Something about 18x20 patterns I just can't jive with, especially on the backhand. The MP was super light but felt really stable for it's weight. Curious to know what the swing weight was. I'm assuming around 3-4pts head light on the one I tried. A little added weight would make this a great racquet. Gonna hit with it a few more times.

So I have hit with the midplus..it’s feels similar to the last generation speed midplus but firmer without being as harsh as the first generation...it is definitely not as stiff as the mxg1 nor is it as heavy to swing

I don't remember, honestly. I just remembered it was a Babolot-esque PJ down at the throat a la the Pure Strike. Didn't like the new Graphene 360 as much as the Graphene Touch version. Felt more metallicky - which is what some people like, apparently.

I switched out the string tonight and hit again,
it had the new lime head.lynx 17g strings, at 52/50lbs, was too powerful
tonight I strung it with 16lg basic poly, at 51lbs,,
the head.sonic.pro.edge string would fit this raket great..

it felt great, solid, just the right amount of power/control
for me the 16g string helped reel back the control..

Ive hit with it several more times this past week, its a fast feeling raket!, SURPRICINGLY (edited), its 12oz static weight (does not feel "its weight"),,
the mp will apeal to a large number of players
the pro imo will be for the stronger male players,

the graphene.360 does change the feel of the raket, in a positive way, to me..

In regards to strings (lynx/edge), or rakets (grap.360- mp/pro)?

for this mp raket I like it when im tired, with 16g strings
for the pro version, which I would use most ( due to plowthrough), I like it with 17g strings..
I like 12oz plus rakets anyway..
but the MP is not flymsy by any means,,
both good rakets imo..

Newbie here from metro Detroit, first post. I'm about a 3.0 NTRP. I tried several racquets from Babolat, Yonex, Dunlop, Wilson and Head.

After weeks of trials by borrowing racquets from a local store, I narrowed my selection down to Head Speed MP.

Other racquets which came close but didn't make the cut were: Yonex eZone 98 (good feel), Babolat Pure Strike 16x19 (too demanding), Head Radical MP and Instinct MP (too dampened).

My coach recommended Radical MP because according to him, it's a racquet that I can grow into, but I didn't like the excessively dampened feel. He also said I hit best with the Speed MP of all the racquets that I tried.

Nothing from Wilson or Babolat came close to giving me the confidence I got from Head Speed MP. It was strung with Babolat Addiction 16 at around 55 lbs tension.

My local store then announced that they have the Graphene 360 Speed (GTS360) MP. They have a small demo area where I was able to hit the racquet, but I couldn't really tell the difference between Graphene 360 Speed MP and Graphene Touch Speed (GTS) MP (which is on clearance for $130, unstrung).

I have the last Graphene Touch Speed MP on hold, but it's become really hard to decide whether to go with the GTS MP or GT360 MP. I am not sure if I'll like the new racquet, and the store won't let me take the GT360 MP for demo because they only have 1 piece, and won't get any more

I am wondering how to decide whether to stick with the tried-and-tested GTS MP and save money, or wait and go with the more expensive GTS360 MP.

The store doesn't do any returns, and they will apply the $30 I spent demoing racquets towards the purchase of a new racquet.

at the end of the day its your call but ive been very pleased with the touch speed MP and a 16 g poly at 54-55 lbs. i have demoed the new 360 frame too ... good stuff. more of a crisp ping on contact. the differences will be more subtle than earth-shattering.

the rad MP is also a great one i have used extensively. at your level either racquet will do well. the speed has a more open pattern and rounded grip, the rad has more stability.

Yes it does now have 8 mains in the throat of the MP
I think you will find there are still only the 6 Mains in the Bridge of the 360MP. Though the shared holes have been eliminated as compared to previous Graphene Speed MPs.

Head Graphene 360 Speed MP
6 mains in bridge, 300g version.

Head Graphene 360 MP Lite
8 mains in bridge, 275g version.

Look again. The throat grommet is wide. 8 mains through the bridge.

I hit with both the Pro and the MP versions.....

So the previous Touch versions were a bit gutless to me. The Touch MP was unplayably wimpy, and the Touch Pro was otherwise fantastic but a bit too demanding / underpowered.

The new versions significantly corrected / overcorrected for this with lots of throat weight and more beam.

I actually liked the MP version a lot compared to the previous version, but the Pro was junk. The Pro lost all of its precision and control that made the last version so good. It launched around but didn't really add power in the traditional sense. It just felt sort of launchy and plowy and slow.

The MP felt pretty solid to me. It had a lot more power than the last version but didn't lose much in terms of spin and control.

I think this is the worst Speed Pro since before the Graphene, and one of the best MP models, with more power but not quite the level of control of the Graphene MP's.

Close up of 6 mains bridge on a Speed 360. Guessing the S model. MP has 8 mains in bridge apparently.

No more information on the Speed 360 MP? I am particulary interested in stiffness and swingweight, the 8 mains in the throat attracted me already!

I very briefly hit it off the wall in the back of our local shop several weeks ago. Having used the XT Speed for several years, the new one is cleaner feeling but has better feedback on contact than the Touch model did. I’d have to fully hit it see if there is still the brassiness that has plagued them. It did feel like they raised the swing weight a bit. The hoop feels less flimsy than recent models although I still think too much of the mass is concentrated in the tip and tail for my liking. While it feels more stable, I still felt it needed more mass at the sides of the hoop

Wonder what sort of pwr* output it feels like?

Eg. more than a Radical - an XT Radical, or a Touch?

As much as a Bab PD?

*a lot of variables add up to power but just wondering how powerful it feels inherently?
