The Head Youtek IG Extreme Pro 2.0 has better TW ratings than the new Graphene Extreme Pro. Would love a comparison.

First, numeric scores are just a reference, but take into account that the high scores of the Ig version were due to Andy and Carol , and none of them were in the Graphene review.

Main differences are:

1. The grip shape, the new extreme have Tk82s pallets (the ones used in the Speed line) so the grip is very "wilsony" and not so rectangular.

2. The paint job, although it something subjective, I think the Graphene version looks much better, dark metallic blue with neon yellow is very eye-catching.

Less evident differences ( basically they are the same racquet):

1.I find the feel of the new version to be crispier, and a bit more solid, whereas the Ig is more dampened.

2. The new one has slightly more plow, and the Ig is a little bit more maneuverable.

I have both rackets and agree with most points except the playability.

The graphene Extreme Pro grip does feel a bit more rectangular. And the paint job is really, really nice. A big improvement over the IG EP2.

For me, I found the new Extreme Pro to swing a lot lighter than its specs and the EP2. It's too light feeling for me. I haven't weighed both rackets and I wonder if my graphene EP is lighter than it should be based on the specs.

Also, for me, the new EP has a much hollower, harsher feel to it with little if any plow. I find the IG EP2 to be much more comfortable, dampened and solid with pretty good plow.

I was pretty disappointed with the new EP, especially since it looks so great !

I felt that the Head Extreme Pro 2.0 was better all around-plow, comfort, power, etc. but just couldn't figure out with all the hype about the added Graphene why the new version would be a less comfortable racquet. It wasn't just me, Thx.
