But are you sure yours is the final retail paint job, and not a prostock type made for video special release in gloss?I hold the final PJ of a Gravity in my hand and that was 100% glossy![]()

It seems finally head really produced a powerful 98......till now only Boop Pro had free power but lacks maneuverability and i dont like its bulky head shape.Another Gravity 98 review from Japan. Quick summary translation.
- Good usability / easy to use
- Higher launch angle and faster swing speed than Gravity Pro
- Plush feel but has power
- Good spin. More than rackets like Percept
- Somewhat similar to Pure Strike
- Stable at net
Most of it seems to validate Hankenstein's experience.
I was contemplating Pure Strike 98 but didn't more forward since I was a bit concerned about its stiffness and high swing weight. Gravity 98 sounds like a great alternative assuming power level is similar.
It kind of sounds too good to be true. I keep on telling myself there has to be a catch. lolIt seems finally head really produced a powerful 98......till now only Boop Pro had free power but lacks maneuverability and i dont like its bulky head shape.
Wow. This has to be a great racket. I thought Percept already good at spin. But this is better? Interesting.Another Gravity 98 review from Japan. Quick summary translation.

Honestly, I don't see that the Gravity 98 is much different in shape compared to the Boom Pro. Anyway, the balance of 32cm doesn't seem too optimistic for OHB, I still think that the Boom pro will have better maneuverability due to the 31cm HL.It seems finally head really produced a powerful 98......till now only Boop Pro had free power but lacks maneuverability and i dont like its bulky head shape.
Why not just tail weight it as much as you need? It’s just a 305g frame…Honestly, I don't see that the Gravity 98 is much different in shape compared to the Boom Pro. What strings do you use?I believe that I will try it at some point. What I potentially don't like is too much distance between the strings on the mains which means a mess on the strings after two hours of heavy hitting.
The same thing happened to me on the Prestige MP-L, and it was an excellent racket, but playing on clay after two hours made it so that I had to constantly adjust the strings between the points by hand.
Yes this is the "prototype" paintjob, that are sending to test everywhere, but they specifically said that one (black) is not the final PJ....
I followed up on some other comments- it looks like may be Chinese exclusive radicalYesterday in a tournament Hangzhou Open the player Zhang Zhizhen was playing with a new paint job, he uses a Radical frame in the past, but this was a very differente color (mostly white, pink and blue), some comments are saying is the new Gravity Paintjob....
Yes, also saw that one.......to meet it seems to be that case, like some years ago there was a "exclusive" radical PJ...which had a lot of color, but was a special editionI followed up on some other comments- it looks like may be Chinese exclusive radical
Please got NO PINKYesterday in a tournament Hangzhou Open the player Zhang Zhizhen was playing with a new paint job, he uses a Radical frame in the past, but this was a very differente color (mostly white, pink and blue), some comments are saying is the new Gravity Paintjob....

thats great...because I really did not like it......That is not the Gravity paintjob![]()
It´s a special ZZZ paintjob for his Radical only for Chinese market from what I sawthats great...because I really did not like it......
19mm and 70RA was possible in the old days. .. why not 20mm and 65 to 70 RA for us who use soft strings. All this dampening bullshz and 60 RA with soft strings don't go well for most of us. The strings should have the tech to protect arms and we can just change strings to get the feel we want. Changing strings is cheaper then racketsPersonally would’ve liked a thinner beam
Are you sure? For me it looked like he switched to Wilson.....It´s a special ZZZ paintjob for his Radical only for Chinese market from what I saw![]()

You mean a single silo? From what we know it's additional to the existing gravity silo and we don't even know yet if it's replacing the 100" tour version or comes in addition. So most likely no 98" MP or Pro.Is this Gravity 98 Tour a single model? Does anyone know if it will be available in MP and MP-L or Pro weights?
Half hoping for this to come true too. 305 are already too heavy for me on the long run nowadays. Is this Gravity 98 Tour a single model? Does anyone know if it will be available in MP and MP-L or Pro weights?
The ZZZ Radical mentioned above looks like a china exclusive ...Is this Gravity 98 release world wide? or just Euro or US only?

They have given copies out to influencers around the world, so it seems that this will be a global release
The rackets that are unique to the markets are mostly niche things, like special paintjobs, string patterns etc
Usually the mold/racket releases are worldwide
Thank you! Can't wait to get my hands on this frame. The ZZZ Radical mentioned above looks like a china exclusive ...
The Gravity Tour 98 should be a world wide release as it is a new edition to the existing Gravity line
But hey, I dont work for Head...
But are you sure yours is the final retail paint job, and not a prostock type made for video special release in gloss?
Maybe we could get Hank to sketch it out from his memoryAnyone come across a pic of the final paint job? There has to be one out there somewhere, right??
Head had a promo for it on my instagram feed this morning....so they're marketing it already! Looked pretty sweet - I was still waking up, but it looked similar to the Prestige cosmetic to me.Anyone come across a pic of the final paint job? There has to be one out there somewhere, right??
I dont know if this is relevant and I am probably wrong... But
Marin Cilic just won The Hangzhou Final with a blacked out Head racket with a 16/19 pattern.
Can anybody with eagle eyes figure out what model that was??? Maybe a new Gravity Tour 98?
I remember seeing that he switched to a pt57aHe didn't - it was a Prestige paintjob in dark red and his usual PT312 in a 16/19 pattern
Yes he switched to pt57 16x19I remember seeing that he switched to a pt57a
May just be the Prestige that's a very dark red/black color.I dont know if this is relevant and I am probably wrong... But

Guessing your friend is NOT the serving aces guy, this the second feedback like this.Unfortunately a friend of mine tried gravity 98 and told me that it’s not the powerful weapon i was waiting to be. Head missed the opportunity again to produce a true powerful 98 like strike for example. No power at all in defensive situations and too demanding… only for the advanced player.

But there is a powerful Head 98 in the Boom?
I wouldn't have expected that the Gravity line will become a power line by any means.
The Boom is the modern power line, alongside the Speed
