Great racquet ! I encourage everyone to try it if you are a prestige/gravity/speed fan.
Easier than the prestige pro (but similar pocketing and control. More comfort and feel than with the speed pro but similar forgiveness. Similar response to gravity line but slightly more power and spin.

It covers so many familiar grounds yet its unique enough to settle itself as something different. For some it will be too muted with too much pocketing. For some it will be still too control oriented with not enough penetration. But if your goal is to limit unforced errors to minimum and grind out the opponent then this is easily my top 3 pick.

picking up two as soon as soon as they come to the US

Anyone saw the latest Tennisnerd Podcast with Dennis and Max from Head? Jonas is asking for information they can tease and Dennis is talking about already existing rumors of a "particular racket with a particular headsize" and that people might spot something right after or during the US Open (he was starting with a "maybe" be anyways).

Is he talking about the Gravity?

That's my assumption unless they surprise everyone with a Speed 98.

Personally, would much rather have a Speed 98 than a Gravity 98. More more natural stability and power per unit spec. And 23mm is still workable, especially in 98 form.

Just because it is a Speed, doesn't mean it will have 23mm or that a Gravity will have much less?

A 98 inch Speed would automatically be close to something like a Pure Drive 98 or Ezone 98 - the Gravity would be pretty unique given its head shape.
And somehow an old Speed Pro with 19mm and 98inch worked as well. So much more excited for the Gravity here.

A speed and a gravity 98 would be nice however minus the current speed paintjob

Looking forward to Nordicdots frame and later in yesr or early 25 these new heads

Also interested what TF do with the iso 305…

I’m gonna assume he was hinting at the gravity 98.

It’s been mentioned before by dr325 that there is no 98 speed “even on paper”, unless something changed within the last 4-6 months.

Gravity 98 would be close to boom pro with the tear drop head shapes being similar. Speed 98 would have oval shape 98 ...

yes, I was thinking along the same lines. with the success of Blade Pro, you'd think Boom Pro would be its direct competition. maybe that's going to be Gravity 98, actually

Speed 98 would be close to Prestige MPL. It is marketed as a box beam, but in fact it is trapezoidal. Also similar open string pattern

I think what he meant is that 360+ had two versions, initial, then more purple one, same layups.
Auxetic is the third retail PJ.
Auxetic 2.0 coming in Q1 2025
Hi dr325i, do you know if the Gravity Auxetic 2.0 Mp will have a lower stiffness?
Thanks

Gravity line is my favourite from head. As a one hander i always dreamed of a 98 version of this. Bring it on :)

Well, that'd be really sad. I am pretty new here but I already really appreciated all his knowledge and inputs. Would have loved to hear more insight from him. Hope he'll be back!

I am really really curious as to the new paintjob. dr325i said it was absolutely stunning. I am not sure we really need a 98 Gravity (especially if the rest of the specs are more or less the same), but then again, if they do provide it, who am I to complain about it. The more choice for us, the better.

I'm pretty certain i played with a prototype shortly a couple years ago, the final version is already floating around

It reminded me something in the lines if a Blade playability, but admittedly short hit, 10 mins

Also im being told that the Gpro mould is being discontinued in next gen, dont know how true this is, but i was told this years ago, and told again now, the same that a 98 was being made years ago when i had a quick hit

and so in one of my videos i talked about both points above, but this was months before Aux 1.0 Gravity came out, but it seems this info might of been far future dated than i thought lol being for Aux 2.0

What were your thoughts on hit vs iso 305 ?

What what what? No Gravity Pro?
This wouldn't make a lot of sense to be honest, as they usually have their racket silos aligned now and I'm sure there will be a Pro model

The GPro is such a gem and I'm sure a lot of players love it, so I sincerly hope this is one of these "he said, she said" type of misinformations

Way too long ago and short time with it only

Agree it doesn't make sense, given it's my main frame, but he wasn't from about the Gravity 98 some 2-3 years ago long before it was mentioned and long before Aux 1.0 released

I did just get a Gpro 16x19 recently, but havent had a chance to really play with it properly

Have not spotted anything , hope it’s not a false flag by head leadership team ..

Anyone seen the new frame at the us open used by a player ?

Hello guys, we have learned that next year we'll have gravity 98 16x19 from tw's last video. This means Head's 98 silo will be more crowded than ever. Radical mp, radical pro, prestige pro, prestige pro 16x19, extreme tour, boom pro and as a last gravity 98. Having lots of options always good for customers but 7 rackets can be a bit overwhelming and confusing. I wonder what is your thoughts? Do you think Head will discontinue some of them?
Which video?
