Head Gravity Tour 2025

I was on the playtest and I’m still playing with it. I just keep going back to it. Love the power-to-control ratio. Doesn’t give me arm issues even with full poly strings. Right now I’ve go Mach10 in both mains and crosses at 45lbs. No extra weight other than I replaced the grip with a leather one from TW and added a overgrip.

Thanks for your reply. It's funny because I just did a session in Mach10 and I find it a bit uncontrollable. Next time, I'll try it in Razor-soft 1.30. Otherwise, I already tested it in Head Hawk Touch 1.30 and it was really good.

But yes, I confirm, this racket is particularly addictive. Not easy to handle, but the more you play with it, the more addicted you become. Gravity, you know^^

I did a session with Head Touch as well and really enjoyed how that string worked with the frame as well. I think mine was 17g.

Today I tested the Gravity Tour 98 in full Razor-Soft 1.30. Really comfortable and very powerful. Even too much so.^^
I now think the ideal mix for me would be the best of both worlds.
Mach10 1.30 and Razor-Soft 1.30 in cross-ply.
Otherwise, this racket is incredible. It's complicated to get the hang of at first, but the more you play with it and get used to it, the more magical it becomes. It's a real missile launcher.^^

Since the gut went crazy on pricing, I switched to full Hawk Touch or Hawk Touch Rough (the play very much the same to me) and I find it to be a great setup at around 50lbs (I do 50/48 with 5% pre-stretched) full bed.

Interesting thanks :) Does the Hawk Touch Rough grip the ball more? More spin or no more than the normal Hawk Touch? Thanks ;)

I’m using it with Gosen AK Pro CX (not so available anymore) and is a blend of comfort and power that suits me very well.

Bumping for more info on set ups from those playing with this racquet. I have a demo that appears to have Toro Toro (matcha green), and it plays great. Going to be ordering at least one so thinking about what strings to try next. Currently have plenty of lynx tour, hawk tour, hawk power, razor soft, and some good cross strings like ghostwire and wasabi x available.

I currently have 2 Gtour, with another one coming.
Gtour #1 (babolat syntec pro basegrip, 1g at 12, 1.7g at 3 and 9, 1g buttcap)
329.2g
331.5 SW
32.75 cm
13.6 TW
gut/hawk rough 58/55 lbs

Gtour #2 (babolat syntec pro basegrip, 1g buttcap)
329.6g
331.9 SW
32.75 cm
13.9 TW
gut/hawk rough 56/53 lbs

I've only tried this w/ Lynx Tour 1.20mm and gut/hawk rough. I like the lynx tour set up a lot and this is probably the only racket right now that I can play a full bed of poly with no pain. This is probably my favorite racket of all time. I can hit the **** outta ball and it still goes in, while also providing a lot of comfort. It is very very addictive to hit and play with this.

Mine are ~ 330 g, 33 cm, 330 sw strung with overgrip and dampener. Basically stock except for 1-1.5 grams added for matching purposes. Currently using signum pro poly pure 1.28 and really liking it. I’m sure any thick, round poly will work in the open 16x19…will try BBO 1.30 next. Coming from the PA98 the adjustment period was rough but I’m glad I stuck with it.
