Head grip shape?

Are any of the current Head frames still made with the rectangular grip shape?

I know the MG Rad is still that shape, but not sure of the other frames. I tried the new Radical and it felt like a rounded grip shape, not the traditional Head rectangular grip. Thanks.

The Prestige should definitely still be the standard Head. But I thought the Radical would be as well

Are any recent Head models produced with the rectangular grip shape or are they all Wilson-ish these days?
I prefer the Wilson shape but am interesting in trying some Head frames.

All Wilson-ish (TK82S pallets). The last few rectangular (TK82) were nostagia or reissue models none of which seem to be available new at retailers in USA anymore - Pro Tour 2.0, Prestige Classic 2.0 and the Microgel Radical MP&OS.

There are people that actually like that shape?

Yes. Obviously only a minority so it got mostly phased out by Head but some of the geniuses at Tecnifibre HQ are still stuck there..

My guess is that as Semi Western Grip, Heavy Spin Based Games and Poly caught on, rectangular grip started losing ground. Anecdotally I used a lot Of TK82 when I was pure Eastern and now its a little harder although I can still manage.

I mean I hit with a more variety of shots that include flat, top spin.
Slice, kick on serves.

Tk82 is not very kind using a variety of grips during a point.

It’s weird that’s it never bothered me. And I use a more extreme SW grip. My serve is a little more eastern back hand than full continental and my right hand is eastern on my 2 handed so maybe that’s why.

Thanks. Cool. I guess I can enjoy Radicals now without customizing the grip. (y)
The rectangle shape feels great with continental but very awkward for my forehand.
