Is this considered a classic? I found a matched pair at a thrift store for $12 each. Both in good shape with minor wear on the hoop in a spot and some head guard damage.

The look of them threw me off with the skinny beam and small head size yet modern looking cosmetics. Made in Austria.

I love the i.Prestige cosmetic. The MP version (or pro stock thereof, PT57E) was used by quite a few pros.

Yeah, they’re classics now. First came out 21 years ago. I really enjoyed playing with them. I just strung a i.Prestige Mid a couple of days ago.

I bought the i.Prestige MidPlus used, which has a 98 in2 head. The racquet plays great, with excellent damping from its flex, and with nice balance of power and control. It plays close to my Prince NXG Tour Graphite MP (100 in2), except the NXG hits with more of a "thud", totally damped from its damped handle construction.

I need to re-string these to get a better idea if they were a good purchase. I'm thinking of putting some RPM Blast in 18 in one.

The i.Prestige Mid is the same mold as the classic prestige mid. It is a bit stiffer. Solid stick. One of my favorites of all the prestige mids.

It’s quite the same mold. The i.Prestige Mid has grooves at the corners of the bridge while the Prestige Classic is flat.
