Head iprestige Midplus, Dunlop M3.0 custom or New rackets?

Hi all,

Got a bit of a dilemma here. I am currently a div 1 club player in the UK and i am kind of stuck with my racket choice.

I am currently using a Dunlop Biomimmetic M3.0 thats been customised to the same weight and balance as the old prostaff 95. The only issues is that this is too unstable. Yes, i could add more weight to make it more stable but at 363 with strings and an overgrip, it does not leave much room.

I am in posession of 2 pristine i.Prestige MPs and tried them out at the start of the year. They are lovely rackets with great feel however i cannot seem to get along with the grip shape. I don't know what it is about the Head grips these days. These are 366 with strings and an overgrip.

Neither of these seem to work for me. In the past i have used a prince tour 100 16x18 (too fragile and broke about 100000000 of them), Wilson pro-staff 97s (great rackets but couldn't get used to the string pattern), Head Graphene Prestige MPs (these were total garbage), and the old wilson pro-staff 85 (fantastic racket but not worth the small headsize in division 1).

I am currently looking at the Pure Aero VS tour, The Pure Strike VS tour, the Wilson Blade 98, and even the Yonex rackets (not sure which though).

I am roughly a 5.0-5.5 right handed player with a 1HBH. I like to hit a strong serve and step into the court. I don't hit with a massive amount of spin but i can if i have to.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

You can just change the handle pallets on the Prestiges to tk82s (i think thats the code anyway) which is a squarer shape like your dunlops. The iPrestige was a great model, way better than any of the current ****.

Ah ok! I'll take a look at changing the handle pallets. I really like them, they are far superior in feel thats for sure. They are incredibly string sensitive though, currently have them strung with 4g rough and Prince syn gut at around 46 i think.
