Has anybody put this string in a ported prince? If so, what tension?
I’m thinking about putting lynx tour in my graphite exo3 100 (green PJ) at 53lbs. Solinco revolution 16L has been playing nicely in that frame at 54lbs.

I think with your racquet you can use 4g 16 at 60 pounds and think it’s butter.

Anyone feel difference between silver and champagne ? Or is that just voodoo?

I think the silver is just a tad more lively feeling. champagne color slightly more muted and control oriented. Trying to decide which color i want to commit to...
It’s definitely orange though. 100% not red/pink

What a great string this is. Power, control and spin. Minimal string movement like 4G it gives you almost the same solid feel. I don’t know why people compare it with Hyper G when clearly reminds more of 4G. I also found it to be quite stiff which i like and one of the best in terms of tension maintenance..... they only one negative is it’s ultra muted feel. I am curious of silver and orange if they have better feel and less stiffness.... it would be ideal.

Sorry, compared it to Hyper G because I wanted to test them side by side. I only compare strings when they are on the two same racquets and with same tension, and now Hyper G and Lynx Tour are “on the menu”. 
They are definitely not the same, but similar enough… like most co-poly shaped strings.
Still like Hyper G more, but I will try one more round with different tension.

Damn right you are! This string is nothing like hyper G. Hyper G is one of the worst strings there is in my opinion. I hated it. Hyper G is very shaped. Lynx tour ist almost completely round.

Silver is stiff and muted. Very similar to TB 1.25 but more muted. I have not tried the other colors.

As much as i love it, I will say I have missed the mark on 80 percent of my drop shots since playing with this string. I love the feel when hitting out from the baseline but Lynx Tour is not for the finesse player. RPM Blast, Hyper G, and Tour Bite soft offer much more feel in the forecourt. Can anyone compare this string to Hyper G soft?

Interesting as I actually like it more than RPM for touch. I sort of lost my **** today, over hitting, not enough spin etc. Came home tested tension on RacquetTune- 40lbs. Time to restring - but that’s a solid month.

I think silver is slightly less soft....but most likely, all between my ears.

So i just tried the silver. My brief observations are: my second matched racquet played lighter than the one with champagne. They play almost similar.... I can’t say silver is stiffer.... it’s just a little bit crisper with the same plush feel. Maybe better control the champagne and more power the silver. I choose the silver

Tried once mixed feelings. 1.25mm at 50 lbs. Loved it during first session. Had lost a lot of tension and was too powerful during second session. Had to cut it out. Worth trying again at higher tension?

I did not have that problem with silver. Have not tried champagne. Which frame?

Just used some Alu power 18gauge I had lying around at 62lbs. So much stiffer than Lynx, after a two hour hitting session pretty sure I have my first case of tennis elbow.

Strung my VCP330 with 1.25 full bed at 51/49, and hit with it for a couple of hours yesterday. First impressions very good, this is definitely my kind of string.
Interestingly the strung racquet came out 1g heavier than KB Max Power and 2g heavier than Yonex PT Strike. I always string this frame the same way, 1-piece with Parnell knots.

I think the 17 gauge is a little thicker than 1.25mm, hence the weight difference with KB Max Power.

Those of you still using or looking at Lynx Tour - I highly recommend trying a hybrid of Lynx Tour 17 mains and Head Hawk 17 crosses. (In)famously used by Thiem to beat Roger at IW last year. Testing it alongside Crossfire ZX and it's just superb. Feels like a Klip gut hybrid I did with 4G awhile back, with less power. Really great for hitting flat and through the ball, but still gives good spin when you need some height. The feel of the strings is what is drawing me closer and closer to buying reels of the stuff.
For reference I'm using it on a Six.One Team 18x20 w/ leather, 50x47 pounds.

Will it give more control than a full bed of Lynx Tour? Thiem used Lynx Tour 16 mains and Head Hawk 17 crosses just for the record.

Oops. I forgot size does matter.
A full bed of Lynx Tour has a smidge more control by virtue of deadness. Lynx Tour/Hawk has more pop, more crisp.

I haven't used Lynx Tour in a more open 16x19 pattern in a larger head sized racquet, only my 95in 18x20. A full bed of Lynx Tour for me locked up and didn't give me anything in particular.
With Hawk in the crosses, Lynx Tour doesn't lock up and slides relatively freely in my 18x20. This gives me more spin and depth, since the strings can displace easier.

Head Lynx Tour to me felt like a crisper version of Hyper G. I was impressed with it's power, spin and great feel. Lasted longer than other poly's I have tried recently such as Volkl Cyclone Tour and YPTP Yellow. If you like the bright orange color then I think you should give it a try.

Got some more playtime with Lynx Tour, and have to say that I really like this string. I tend to prefer round polys because I feel that I lose some directional control using shaped strings, but Lynx Tour somehow seems to be able to both deliver he sensation of extra ball grab while maintaining the control I usually only find with round strings.

Good choice, this string does everything well and I really couldn’t find anything I disliked about it. I had the same experience as you with it having good directional control. I am curious if they will release a 1.20mm version.

Karue inspired me to finally try head lynx tour in my 2018 Vcore 95 since I don’t have my hands on the 2021 yet....
Solid string, not as responsive as my usual poly tour strike that I use for this stick. Felt deader, and more muted. But on big swings it did feel really good and definitely came to life, seemed to have an extra gear. I think it would suit a stiffer or less muted racquet as initially I was bit taken back by the vague feel this had in this stick.
Stringing it up was straightforward, it is quite a sticky string compared to strike with friction you could really feel while pulling through the crosses. I don’t think SnapBack is great with this string. It is very comfortable, edges out strike on that front. But overall touch and feel, I still prefer Strike for the Vcore, especially on softer touch shots. I may adapt and like it more going forward. These are first impressions fresh of the stringer. Maybe it plays better at higher tension?? The feel and comfort when hitting out has me wanting to hit more with it, and definitely will leave it in and give it more play time.

Been using the Orange version, I FEEL it has more pop and bite, encouraged me to take bigger cuts. Overall I much prefer it to the Champagne, whether it’s a mental thing or not is always arguable of course.

I've heard that it's available in Europe but can't confirm. I was told that the US should have it any day now.
Yeah I absolutely loathe the Hyper G's green color. It doesn't match with any of my racquets.
