Head Lynx vs Lynx Touch

Looking for my next baseline string. Anyone had experience with these two strings?

My previous baseline string is Tourna black zone 120, I usually use it in my demo racquets or cross for poly/poly hybrid, I liked that string but looking for something new.

My go-to string is Lynx Tour Champagne 125, which string between these two will be a better cross? If I play them full bed, what are the differences between these two.

According to reviews, Lynx touch is supposed to be very soft, but in TW database, Lynx touch has 222 stiffness rating, which kinda confuses me.

I have played with Lynx Touch 17 before - the stiffness is certainly not as high as the one stated on the TW database. I would rate it softer than Head Lynx 17 (179 lb/in) and place it closer to low 170 range. Having said that and since I have tried both strings, I would not bother with Head Lynx Touch - yes it is soft (if you are looking for a soft string), but spin is dreadful, lacks feel and I did not have directional control when I am swinging the ball. I cut it out after about 3 hours of play and replaced it with VCT 16, which is a significantly better string imo (if not for the quick tension loss). Head Lynx is a very good sof string too - crisp, plenty of spin and provides good feedback of the ball - but is stiffer than VCT 16. Direct comparison is likely to be Yonex PTP.

Lynx touch is extremely soft, almost felt like a multi. Lynx is soft but crisp in comparison. Lynx touch also has pretty poor spin and control, Lynx is more of a jack of all trades string.

I think maybe it is "soft" in a direct, tension-only, stiffness measurement. It is sticky, however. I suspect that 222 comes from high-friction on the cross strings. I had Lynx Touch on a Gravity Pro with Confidential mains and the LT quickly sawed through the Confidential. Very strange for a smooth poly!
