i aws thinking of getting the fxp 4 would you recommend it ?ya i have the fxp 4. it plays great. the only thing i dont like about it the stupid plastic sound it makes, no matter what strings i tried, even fresh string jobs! however, i do like my redondo more, lol
it is a great racket by all means, i had a good time with it but i must warn you, the sound might get very annoying, very fast. so definitely try and demo it so you can hear the sound. if you don't mind the sound, by all means, go for iti aws thinking of getting the fxp 4 would you recommend it ?
was thinking also of the instinct team , i know the two are fairly similar .
Does it have too much trampline effect, could you control the power off the string bed ?? I used to use Head IS6 midsize, compared to that does this racket have more controllable power?I hit with this stick today. Much more maneuverable comapred to the LM and FP 4s. I was impressed by the level of comfort and the stable feel at impact considering its light strung weight.
I am not sure what level you are but did you feel that you could control the power off the string bed though? Did you feel like you were losing some consistancy on the groundies? or could you maintain consistancy off the ground strokes ? Thank you so much Chris..I did not find a trampoline effect from the stringbed. The pattern is open which does provide good ball speed off the strings, but it also provides good ball bite - resulting in plenty of spin.
It has been too long since I've hit with a i.S6 to compare the two.
