hi!

I have been tennis for 4 years now and always used to play racket with 18x20 pattern(wilson nblade, kblade tour and microgel MP) and then I had a couch who recommend me to use a racket with 16x19 pattern.

After some research on the web I bought Head Microgel Radical Pro! Overall Im very satisfied with the racket but I notice it is a bit too head heavy. When strung it is almost evenly balanced. I really liked wilson klade tour as it weight, HL, and balance feels perfect to me. So Im wondering what will happen if i add 15 gram of lead tape on the handle of the racket? SW,power, stability, etc. By adding 15gram to the handle the balance of the Head will be approximately same as the kblade.

Thanks guys!

Regards!

I'm sure others will say this, but why not change to a leather grip and take it from there. In any event, add in 3-5 gram increments till you find what you want.

thanks for your reply man! Maybe it a dumb ass question but what is a leather grip going to make the difference for the balance and stuff? I know you get less cushion from leather grip and but anything more than that...?!

It's usually heavier than a synthetic.

Expect a 5-10 grams mass difference depending on the synthetic grip that's replaced and the leather grip that will replace it.
Also, expect better feel for the bevels and a harder/harsher handle.
The sw difference will be insignificant, as will be the difference in power.
There might be a difference in control (positive or negative) depending on whether you like the leather feel or not...and whether that difference helps you in finding your grips better and/or feeling the ball better.

yep, leather grip from tw and overgrip go up a couple points more hl. put some lead under the grip if you want more hl.
