Head or not Heado

The new speed pro interest me. I see you have a one up for sale. What did you think of it?
I like it, but not enough to drop te others ;)
It has a nice feel, softer and more muted than the previous two graphene versions. I'd say the move into the right direction for head.

Yes, that one (Graphene Touch Speed Pro) is the retail one of the three (although I have installed the TK82 pallets on it)

Let me know if you need the detailed pictures of the one for sale.

Id say the XT Speed pro with the white grip is retail, are you saying theyre paint jobs? Or are they pro stocks
The XT Speed Pro with the white OG (the bottom in the first picture) is the furthest away from the retail (the throat is different, no shared holes, the beam is different (think of Radical ;))

I couldnt tell if the throat was actually different or if it was the lighting haha, great paintjobs!

The G Touch is the retail. Nice improvement from the previous ones.
The black grip one (middle) is the PT310. Interesting beast. Retail Speed (TGK301.x) throat, but 95 sq in Head (with the beam shape of the retail Speed!), identical string pattern to a classic head MP 18x20 (no shared holes), layup of the PT113B, nice and soft 61RA that feels even softer.
The XT PJ with white OG is the PT113B.

First time I hear of the PT310! I assume there's a pro who uses this mould?

I am puzzled, too, but I have seen them before (332112103890 on e Bay) but in 16x19.
Great feeling stick. I wonder why would they make that one and PT113B?
I am not sure if the PT310 is a twin-tube (like 113B)? Cannot see the "seam" along the inside of the hoop.
Will post more details after I spend more time with it.
Maybe @vsbabolat has more info on it.

Well that's intriguing... Maybe Head was thinking of a Speed Pro 95" at one point (for Djokovic to endorse or even switch to)? But who knows, not like anything of what Head is doing racquet mould wise makes any sense whatsoever haha. Anyways, look forwards to your thoughts!

I have seen the PT310. One of the Russians is using it. I'm too tired to remember which one.

How PT310 plays in comparison with LM Radical Tour?
LM Radical tour is the similar mold (with ridges) to the PT113B but stiffer layup.
The PT310 is the same layup as the PT113B (or feels that way).
I am still not sure why would they make this mold if they already had the PT113B, unless there was a deal with Djokovic not to release that mold to others (except Stepanek) that apparently has expired as we have seen Verdasco, Zimonjic, Zverev and others testing/using them...

Does it mean that both PT113B and PT310 have less power (hence less crisp) than PT167 (aka LM Rad)?
If yes - how far less?

I did not like the LM Radical - stiff, muted, hollow.
Power-wise, they are similar, but since 113 and 310 are softer, I'd say they have 15% less power

Thansk Dan.
Strange but I did find LM Rad Tour to be neither stiff nor hollow at all. Crisp - yes. But not stiff.
Interesting, feel-wise I prefer LM Rad Tour to PT57A (Pro Tour). Latter is way too soft for me, way to buttery, more than I need. LM Rad, from other hand, has enough plush, enough flex, enough power.

I set up the PT310 to match my PT113Bs, 335g, 32.5cm, 342SW.
Awesome racket. Feels very much like the PT113B, same layup
Spent two hours hitting today and will be a nice backup for my two PT113B

Flex-wise? Comparable with PT57A? Or (hopefuy) a little crisper...

Hi Dr,

Have you used the TGT301.4 ?

Are they soft feeling??
I've tried the retail 301.5 and they are better than the 301.1/2 but not soft like the other two in the picture.
If you got the 301.4s on the SF I think they are not going to be comparable to the PT113B/PT310

I have not buy them but i was looking to get them

When you get rid some of your pt310 let me know!!
Keep you eyes open. I got my PT113B and PT310 at the levels at or below the retail price from people that did not know what was under the paint.

Hit for a few hours with the PT310.
Soft. 61RA unstrung, 59 strung.
Softer layup than the PT113B
They are all set up the same, 335g, 32.5cm, 342SW.
The PT113B definitely hits heavier ball.
However the PT310 hits beautiful soft and great feedback.
Very stable.

This is exactly my thoughts when I compare Radical Tour original (Yellow/Black) with LM Radical Tour (PT167)...
