Howdy
I wanted to ask about your opinion on stringing Prestige Mid. For now I have chosen to use Babolat RPM Blast Rough and Tecnifibre XR3 17G together in order to get better spin and power from a 93" mid size racket.

I was inclined to use Rough on the mains for spin and XR3 on crosses for power, but after reading a few post here on the forum I am confused which way to go about it. I thought because the way racket makes contact with ball it would make more sense to use Rough inthe mains to get better top spin. Mid size rackets are more about precision so any help with spin and power that I can get from the strings and installing them in the right way is welcomed. FYI I am not a baseline hitter waiting for unforced errors. Well may be 30% of the time. I generally would like to step in the court and try to take control of the game. I do play a lot of drop shots with backhand slice. It is because I feel more comfortable doing that then to hit top spin to finish the point with the backhand.

Kindly let me know what do you all suggest and why? Thanks

I play with the graphene touch prestige mid and am loving a full bed of round poly strung low (45lbs for me is low). The string bed gives you all the control and touch you’ll need.

At the end of the day it’s all about if you want a tight string bed or not. Keep your hybrid setup if you want a tight bed. Go full poly if you like it looser- that racket gives you plenty of control already.

Any suggestion on RPM Rough on mains or crosses?

Sorry, so many Prestige models out now - if a 93 head and 18X20 pattern, easy call for us mere mortals: pre BT7 natural gut full bed at moderate tension or Tecnifibre TGV at moderate tension. Played one for decades... Oh, and you will not need to restring often, not at all often... The poly craze needs to calm down a bit with 90-93 more flexible frames and 18X20 patterns. Calm down guys... (The hard fact, though, is that all the natural gut sold today is very stiff compared to earlier natural guts when that Prestige was initially designed. Even Tec 515 will play lights out in that frame - but that had to be discontinued with the larger heads and more open patterns that we are all told that we must play with...)

Can you please help me chosen from the options thanks

So in nutshell for hybrid the cross must be natural gut or there is no point using two different strings?

depends on what you want - use whichever playability you want for the mains.
ie - if you want (more) power, use the more powerful string for the mains, etc.

If you want lots more power put the softer string in the mains. You'll probably get a bit less spin than putting the poly in the mains but it will give you more power and feel more plush. It may also be a bit less durable as the poly cross (especially if shaped) may cut the soft mains.

If you want more spin/durablity/control put the poly in the mains, the softer cross will add a bit more power than a full bed of poly and soften the string bed a bit.

I personally use a 18G shaped poly with a round 17 gauge monofilament polyamide but I'm not a string breaker and I mainly play dense pattern control frames.

Im In the same sort of predicament. I was only just now searching for differences in tensions in a hybrid setup. The lattice consisting of a two lb tension difference in the mains as to the crosses. The multifilament may provide more comfort in the yoke, where off-center shots faculty arm fatigue. I’m searching advice for hybridizing multifilaments and polyester strings for this frame too.

Try it both ways to find out what works best for you. If you don't have at least 2 of the same racquet it is a great excuse to get 1(or a few) more.

I'm enjoying full bed of Lynx Tour on my Mid, but it's not what OP wants. He wants to combine a rough poly with a soft multi for maximum breakage potential

To each their own I guess. No matter what, can’t knock a person based on what they like to feel. With that said, I’m pretty confident more people would agree with our setups.

Multifilament in the mains for more comfort. Seems like the better way to go. Generate lots of spin and power. You ought to realize that when the crosses and mains intersect they run diagonally across the ball during a spin shot. That's what I'll be doing. Haven't decided what tension though. You'll still get spin from the crosses though.
