I know that racquet selection is a very personal thing but I wanted to share my recent experience in switching to the new prestige mpl. 57 yrs old, I’ve been playing for over 45 years. 6ft 2 95kg old school style OHBH and longish flat strokes etc. hard hitting I’ve always been drawn to thin beamed small head, heavy ish racquets. Tried a few recently to get away from my 9 yr old prestige rev pro which after testing many (Yonex Vcore 95 Wilson Blade Gravity Pro Prince 93P and 2021 prestige pro to name a few) I always seem to revert back to. Looked at the new 2023 Prestige line up and watched ALL the reviews on YouTube. Almost all of them seemed to steer away from the lightest racket the MPL. Not really a prestige gets pushed around, plenty of similar and better racquets out there at these specs blah blah blah. So glad I trusted my instincts and tried it with it having very similar specs to the Rev pro apart from the 93 vs 99 head size and 20 vs 21.5mm beam. Great swing weight, balance and very stable, all in stock form with no need for any additional weight. Lynx tour at 50lbs.
After 5 years of searching now happy. Great racquet. Great choice, for me anyway.
