Good day- Just curious on what strings and tension most of you use on the Classic Prestige's and Graphite 600? Over the years I have purchased a nice collection of Head Classic racquets, just for the fun of it to see hoe they play, and would like to post photo's of my display. Currently using an Angell TC97 (18X20) 330/310. I string in the lower spectrum 48/46 with gut/poly. I would like to Thank All that have contributed to this forum, as it has narrowed down my choices and lowered bank account!!! Thanks to all..............

Thanks VS....I was hoping you would chime in. I have the Euro version Head- Graphite Pro Mid Plus (vibration control system) 12.4oz, Head- Special Edition Mid Plus, Head- Pro S.E. (blue/silver). Other 89.5" are composites: Head-Team Pro, Head- Magic Plus, Head- Magnum Pro (Special Edition), Head- Comp Pro Mid Plus. Head Prestige's: XTP, 2nd Generation, Classic 600, Elite, I- Prestige 98" (2), PT630, Trysis 280. All in near mint condition. My everyday racquet is the Angell, but I like to hit with racquets of the past for fun. It get's costly stringing with gut, that's why I was curious in string tension and string preference. I would like to post a few photo's of the slatwall, in oak veneer, displaying 65 racquets. VS Babolat...That's for all your contributions to these forums.

I have found that natural gut or a natural gut hybrid with the gut in the mains have lasted me longer than multi's. I like it right in the middle of the tension range. I even string my classic 630cm2 series at mid range at 25kg. If you want to do the multi route I suggest Tecnifbre NRG2, Tecnifibre X-one Biphase, and HDX.

Thanks VS Babolat. I switch to gut in the mains hybrid years ago, nothing comes close. Will give natural gut in a full bed a try. Thanks........

I got these strung up with a cheap old Dunlop multi that I have some left over sets that I'm using up. I have found most any string plays great in these racquets. Think these are the least string sensitive racquets I have used.
