Which of these rackets do you guys prefer?
Head graphene 360+ prestige MP or Yonex vcore 97 HD. I'm on the fence which one to buy.

I have tried both and they are basically twins, they play very very similar. I have not come across two different racquets from different brands that play as similar as these two.

In the end, either one would be a great choice. The only small difference would be:

Prestige MP: A bit easier to swing and therefore has less plow. Feels just a tad bit more crisp but it’s still a flexible racquet.

HD: Has more plow, sweetspot feels bigger. Feel is very flexible (too flexible for some). For me the feel was addictive.

Even owning these racquets at the same time I couldn’t choose one, so don’t worry if you don’t know which one. Whatever you pick is gonna be awesome.

They both feel like classic players racquets, but the HD is something special. Very flexy, but still pretty powerful thanks to the plow
The Prestige obviously has the longer history and some fans to it, to me it was a little to dead in the 360+ iteration, haven't played the Auxetic yet

If I were to give any recommendation, just demo both of them - both are great racquets with up- and downsides to them, depends on rather personal choice

Thanks for your answer! No wonder why I can’t decide, you own two and still can’t choose. Ig I just go with the prestige since it’s a little bit cheaper

Well… I can’t demo these rackets, where I’m at. That’s why I asked help on this forum. The extra plow is ofc nice. But I heard from others that it comes with the cost of less manoeuvrability.

Both the racquets have a static weight of 320gr and a comparable balance (Yonex 7pts HL 328 SW/ Head 360+ 7pts HL 323 SW).
So as a mere mortal, there shouldn't be too much difference in maneuverability.
Also I don't feel that with the HD, even when playing higher level doubles I can react quickly and get it around for bodyshots ;)

I cannot explain really why the Yonex feels more powerful, maybe it is also response of the flex - but it feels livelier than you'd expect out of a 59 flex players racket.
With the Prestige the best word for it is reliability - it's not super powerful or spectacular, but you can control the outcome if you bring your own power.
Some would argue that, also due to VDM in Yonex, the VCpro does not quite match that predictability - but I prefer the little bit of liveliness

Hope this helps in the decision.

Thanks for your help! I’ll go for the prestige then, since I can create my own pace quite well.
