Mine is 13.2g. Pretty light. I replaced with a 20+g Head Tour leather grip. Wanted more headlight than the 33cm/4 pts with the stock grip.(Genuine question) what is the weight of the factory synthetic grip on the PT2.0? I am think if it is worthwhile to swap out for lighter ones to allow some tinkering without making too heavy overall. Just a thought thanks.

Thanks for the insight. What are your opinions between the last two racquets you have mentioned, the 6.1 95 18 X 20 (especially the factor if you tried it) vs PT2.0?
Wonder if anyone who’s hit already has some thoughts how it compares to the BLX blade
Third time is the charm!
Got weight and grip figured out to something that feels right. Added silicone lube on the strings (too lazy to cut out) and what do you know, finally got some consistent ball pocketing for my trouble.
Take away is Lynx is strung too tight from the factory but decent weight and kinda muted feel of frame mask the reality of an overly stiff stringbed. Probably would be ok if it laid around for a month or two before the sale.
Having put in a few hours of solid competitive tennis today I couldn't tell if I would have done better with my main.
Way different from your PA modded to 345sw. I bet your consistancy went up with the pt 2.0
Nice photos! Nice posing. Makes me want to buy just to look at it.i'd like to know also please. my main racquets before the lockdown were the 2013 Blade 18x20 and the 2013/4 Pure Strike 98 16x19 (both modded to similar spec)
anyway.....
just finished work for the day and opened the TWE box. what a beauty. it felt hefty after removing the cardboard and the plastic wrap, but a nice feel. i like.
so a quick measure, my stock spec seems to be 340g/32.6cm/326SW. seems abit "off" from the TW spec, but who knows.
i have a couple of options for the blue string to match... both syn gut, as i only do syn gut these days lol
i will string it up in the next days, add an OG and try to up the SW to upper 335SW, but will try not to add too much weight overall....
huge thank yous to the knowledge people and those early adaptors/enablers (you know who you are!!!!).
glad to be back with a Head again.
Great! I'm gonna bump that thread with some new questions! Thanks.
I really enjoy the PT 2.0, but on clay (my excuse!) I can't bring the power this racket needs to shine, on a consistent basis.
If a 12 year old girl can, good for her. I can rip forehands on a consistent basis with my MP+, with 4 strips of lead.
Ime, the PT 2.0 shows its true colors when you put a lot of force into the shot, that's when it reveals its sweet plushness
All of that is consistent with stringbed being too tight to properly pocket the ball on impacts with lower momentum (not "a lot of force into the shot")
Agree 100%. Like PRO skis. If you have (pro)legs and power then pro skis shines, otherwise is better to go sth easier to make curves. PT 2.0 shines if you are good and consistent enough i.e. you must be really advance player (5+) otherwise PT 2.0 is great for rally and a nightmare for competition. I found Gravity Pro much easier and friendlier for level 4-5 players.I really enjoy the PT 2.0, but on clay (my excuse!) I can't bring the power this racket needs to shine, on a consistent basis.

Dont think so. Just Graphite as far as I knowIs there graphene in the 2.0?
Hahahahaha!! You still playing the IGPMP? If so I think you’d like this PT2.0Wow, must be a lot of geezers playing tennis if they're re-releasing this boomer stick.
NoIs there graphene in the 2.0?

There is but just like Twaron, the amounts are very small and in specific placesAfter anything i read about Graphene i find it hard to believe there is any in the Graphene racquets either.
Material Question
A new material may transform computers, cell phones, and cancer treatments—if we can just figure out how to use it. John Colapinto reports.www.newyorker.com
After tinkering with the weight I found the opposite. I felt the 2.0 played easier than the Gravity Pro in nearly all areas. It’s also more maneuverable than the GPro in the mid court and feels way better at the net in my opinion

Companies get sued for false advertising especially in the US. So HEAD would not state that they use Graphene when they don't.After anything i read about Graphene i find it hard to believe there is any in the Graphene racquets either.

Did your RA go down after that?I can’t find the posts but a few individuals felt the grip was larger than they expected.
I just thought I would share under the grip is a is a sheet of double stick adhesive which was somewhat lumpy in its application. Once I removed that it felt identical to my other frames.

IMHO it’s not all in the weight, SW and manoeuvrability. All these are the least important. The shape, size and sweet spot of the racket head really makes its own to make the game easier with GPro. With PT 2.0 you have to be much more accurate and that’s the biggest “problem”. You are rarely in an ideal position in competition game, especially if you play with those who are better than you. The other story is juts rally without moving too much ...After tinkering with the weight I found the opposite. I felt the 2.0 played easier than the Gravity Pro in nearly all areas. In any case, the 2.0 is great racket as all the latest editions. I am looking forward to updated Extreme and just hope Head will make it slightly more control oriented.
Thank goodness we are different, because otherwise we would only have one racket available.Respectfully disagree. I found the head shape more cumbersome than the 2.0 but that is merely preference. I was never overly impressed with the size sweet spot on the gravity but it was fun to play with. Slight spin advantage with the gravity but I’ve had better power and much better control so far with the 2.0. Haven’t played enough with it yet though but those are early impressions for me

That is so cool. Thank you v much for this. This is what I was wondering. So i played yesterday for an hour and felt like i needed to reduce the overall weight a little. My forehand felt sluggish and unable to drop the ball in. Mine was 351g fully poly, solinco wondergrip, dublop damp 2.5g and stock grip. So i took off the base grip which cam to 14.4g. Then under that was a sleeve of tape and i removed that as well. That was 1.98g. Then i added a karakal super pu grip and i put it on really tight because i felt the grip size is slightly big and was only 11.5g. So i just shaved off 5g from the handle which for me and maybe some of you is a good thing. Im now at my typical racquet static weight of 345/346g. Cant wait to hit again and compare. I also strung at 47/44 but initial thoughts are i might need to go lower.

Who got it at 360 in stock form??That is so cool. Thank you v much for this. This is what I was wondering.
I see loads of PT2.0 well into the highly 350g and the 360s... too demanding for me. I was able to swing low 350g when I was about 10 years younger.
I also use karakal super pu grip on most of my racquets too, so that is a good news. I have Wilson FeatherThin, so I may try that if karakal doesn’t work.
I will cut out the Lynx and string it up with fb of Syn gut, so that should save some weight also.... will see. I will aim low to mid 340g at this stage.
Thanks again.
Edit - after reducing about 5g, what is your current balance and any idea on the SW? Thanks.
Yes you are right. No PT2.0 in stock form are in 360g-ish.Who got it at 360 in stock form??
Most of them fall with INH 345-352g strung with overgrip
Anyone know of any retailers stocking this in Canada? Buying from TW is expensive for Canadians

It is.So is it really a limited edition or was that just marketing ploy ?

Good to know, thanks. Does this mean the limited edition thing will kick in after the first back order is sold out?It is.
