Head Pro Tour 2.0 - Ask Us All Your Questions! (podcast now here!)

is it the original 95in head? cuz the video states it at 98 and the new model is stiffer so will it not have the same flexy feel as the OG?

If you’re getting more than one it’s cheaper to buy from tennis warehouse Europe. Yes you have to pay shipping buts it still a good amount cheaper. And I only bought 2 so others can have a chance to get one.

TT forum: I don’t see why head doesn’t just release the pt630 to the public. It may not appeal to the vast majority of players but us loyal TTers would happily pay a little more for it.

Head: releases PT630 to public

TT forum:

Keep setting them up...
Well I dont speak for anyone else on this chat. My point was not to b3 charged an unfair price. Price is 160 bucks. I've bought 2. No problems.

How heavy is this Lynx 17g Anthracite, average for a poly string? If so, I can play with the string and custom order from TW to get the SW under 330 or even close to 325.

Pretty avg. I have played with the green one. Adds about 16g to static weight in my 18x20 Angells. Racquet is about 335 swing weight range when strung. Same as RS Lyon 17.

I don’t see it saying limited anywhere... @TW Staff can you confirm or deny limited quantity?
There is a picture in that link.. see screen grab

It’s disappointing there is no twaron but if they play nice who cares

Also the 65 RA makes it tough to call it a pro tour

Very disappointed: it may be a good racket, but it doesn't even come close to pt630 .
Neither twaron, nor weight, nor flex. My shadow weighs 340g unstrung.
Very good price, but for what?
Increasingly happy with my 5 pt630 MIA (and it only cost me 200€) .

Just received mine physically, but i won't get to play with it for possible 2 weeks or more lool

65 RA. Yeah there’s no way my arm is handling that

Let's see how it plays. The iPrestige plays quite firm and the real-world RA is higher than whatever the official value deemed to be.

Any Ultra Tour owners also have the iPrestige want to weigh in?

[spoiler: I am one and if you told me the HEAD was 2 points stiffer, I would not say your wrong. I haven't had them strung the same but the Ultra felt softer with the first job (Tour Bite/Vanquish). Now with a full bed of PSGD 16G and its much closer to the iPrestige, but stiffer? — I can't tell by feel so far.]

Can you tell us if it has the newer grip shape or the old head grip shape?

Related Help / Input

If you are like me (and Nadal) and are between sizes, would you size down or size up ?

Hmm.

/Acey

I buy new sticks in both size 2 and 3, depending on the exact diameters and shapes. I like to feel the bevels so I've been leaning towards 3 but I like fine tuning the diameter if it's a 2.

Maybe I'll get both and cover my bases <evil_grin>.

Unless I heard wrong on the podcast, it has the traditional head shape pallets, not the new ones.

Oh cool podcast is out already - well i don't know about what they received, but i legitimately have the racquet already, and seems to feel like a TK82S

Well i'm pretty sure it is, it feels similar to my Speed, Gravity and Prestige

Edit: nope so sorry haha i am wrong, i just pulled it apart, and it's a TK82 - i think i got confused because i got grip 2, and the last one i used as a grip 4 which was may more prominent in shape
